One of the latest major new features on Streams Charts is chat analytics for Twitch channels. For today, we are collecting chat data on over 100K channels, history data is available from January 1, 2022. In this article, we will tell you what our PRO and Streamer users can get with access to the Twitch Chat Analysis add-on.
Unique Set of Metrics
This tool allows you not only to download the entire chat log of a stream or for a particular time period, but also provides analytical data: number of messages, number of words in messages, active and passive chatters, chatters' activity rate, as well as information on bits and cheers.
All this data is available both for the particular stream on the page of the broadcast itself (example), and for any period of time: in other words, for several streams on a separate tab of the channel (example). Here you can see the Top 5 words and chatters for the stream(s). You can use the selector in the block of chatters to see the Top 5 users by messages sent, bits, or cheers spent.
Search By Word Or Chatter
Use the search bar to see data on mentions of a particular word or phrase in a chat of a chosen channel. The "Full word" option will show statistics on the full word without additional particles or apostrophes, and "Message's mention" will show statistics on the particle in the word. "Chatter username" will allow you to track all chat activity of a particular user.
The same features are available in the block of the full chat log of a broadcast. When you search by word particle or chatter in this block, you can download the chat log with only that mention or only the messages from the selected chat user.
Messages and Chatters Dynamics
There are 2 charts available in the channel's chat analytics tab: message dynamics and active chatters. You can analyze how chat activity has changed by day, and see the contribution of cheer-messages from cheer-chatters.
Detailed Breakdown by Streams
Here you can see the channel's chat analytics tab that provides a detailed breakdown from stream to stream with all the metrics that tell you about chat activity. Use the "Customize table" button in the right corner of the block to show or hide certain metrics. The Chat log column will allow you to download the chat log of each stream presented in the table.
Analyze Brand Mentions in All Chats
Want to know the popularity of a brand in several streamers' chats at once? Our Twitch Chat Analyzer can help you with this. Analyze mentions of a brand, organization, or advertising integration across all available channels. Additional filters include selecting your channel lists, excluding bots from statistics, and a date picker.
Use Twitch Chat Analyzer to get not only total brand mentions and chat dynamics, but also additional analytics on chatters, streams, games, languages, as well as a full chat log with all brand mentions in chats of all selected channels.
