SpeeDons is an annual livestreaming charity event created by Xavier “MisterMV” Dang, a French creator with over 900K Twitch Followers. Each year since 2021, SpeeDons brings French-speaking speedrunners together to put on a show and bring in donations. This year, the event received well over €2.2M, the most it has ever collected.
SpeeDons 2025 started on February 27 and continued through until March 2. Streams Charts has collected the viewership data of this year’s SpeeDons, based on all streams to cover the event. For 2025, SpeeDons experimented with Japanese and German co-streaming, as well as an English co-stream hosted on GamesDoneQuick. With a boost from these co-streams, SpeeDons 2025 reached 78,471 Peak Viewers.
SpeeDons 2025 saw 74 total games streamed on MisterMV’s Twitch, packing the entire weekend full of speedrunning content. This year it started off strong viewership-wise; Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was one of the first runs on the opening day, and it reached over 76,000 viewers on MisterMV’s channel.
Following on from The Lost Crown, the next activity was a two-players-one-controller run of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by Roms-Abt and Arna, which was highly popular despite finishing in only 30 minutes. On the opposite side of the marathon, Dishonored was one of the last runs of SpeeDons 2025 and one of the most popular, thanks to viewers tuning in for the final moments of the event.
Compared to other editions, SpeeDons 2025 was not able to match the raw peak viewership of previous years, however, it set a new watch time record for the series. The 2025 charity event saw an increase in Average Viewers, boosted over 2024’s results by the addition of new co-streaming options in English, Japanese, and German. With 3.69M Hours Watched, SpeeDons 2025 was the most-watched iteration yet.
While 2025 did not see SpeeDons break the 100,000 concurrent viewers barrier, nor increase on its peak viewership, MisterMV has cultivated a stable and loyal community for charity. The new introduction of various co-streams in different languages is a step into the future for SpeeDons. In the coming years, the co-streams for SpeeDons in various languages will hopefully receive more attention, as the name of the speedrunning event spreads outside the French community.
SpeeDons 2025 marked not only record-breaking watch time and average viewership, but also the highest donations the charity has ever received. With €2,231,146 donated this year, SpeeDons will only be aiming higher for 2026.
