This past weekend, Warsaw hosted an awards ceremony named Złote Antosie 2024, celebrating Poland’s top Twitch streamers. With winners recognized across more than two dozen categories, the event’s broadcast became the most-watched stream of the week, even outperforming major events and coming close to setting a new record on Polish Twitch.
Złote Antosy 2024 featured a diverse mix of categories, ranging from classic awards like “Best Counter-Strike Streamer” and “Best Grand Theft Auto Streamer” to more unconventional ones, such as Cringe Moment of the Year and Worst Play of the Year. The biggest honors went to Female Streamer of the Year and Streamer of the Year: Karolina 'Nieuczesana' Brodnicka claimed the top spot among female creators, while League of Legends creator Witold 'Gucio' Tacikiewicz secured the main award for the second year running.
This was the second edition of the awards, but the first to be held as an in-person event. The debut ceremony was entirely online, streaming on the channel of Poland’s top streamer Marcin 'Xayoo' Majkutas, where it peaked at just over 33,000 viewers. The 2024 edition saw a massive jump in viewership, hitting over 189,000 at its peak: right at the ceremony’s climax when Gucio was being celebrated.
The event was streamed on Dominik 'MokrySuchar' Stokłosa’s channel, who, fittingly, won IRL Streamer of the Year. His broadcast wasn’t just a hit in Poland, it was one of the biggest streams on Twitch overall in terms of concurrent viewership. It outperformed major content, including Kai Cenat’s Batman marathon, the Six Invitational 2025 grand final (on the tournament’s main channel), and also individual broadcasts from other major esports events like Valorant Masters Bangkok 2025 and LEC Winter 2025.
Among regional streamer awards from late 2024 to early 2025 (excluding global giants like The Game Awards), Złote Antosie was the second most-watched, surpassed only by the HLTV Award Show 2024. The LCK Awards could have been a contender as well, but its live broadcast was cancelled at the last moment following the tragic crash of Jeju Air Flight 2216.
One of the biggest storylines surrounding the event was whether it could break the all-time peak viewership record for Polish Twitch. In the end, it came incredibly close but ultimately fell just short. This means the record still stands with Xayoo, who set it back in 2021 during his comeback stream, which peaked at over 193,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, the Streams Charts team reminds you that the Ukrainian Stream Awards are set for tomorrow, February 27, at 19:00 Kyiv time. The event will be streamed live on TheTremba channel. Be sure to tune in!
