Sykkuno returned to Twitch after two years of streaming on YouTube

Sykkuno returned to Twitch after two years of streaming on YouTube

The American live streamer and content creator Sykkuno announced his return to Twitch, which he left two years ago for an exclusive contract with YouTube. He already conducted his first broadcast after coming back to Twitch and gathered his largest peak concurrent audience since July 2022.

Sykkuno's return to Twitch was a big surprise to all of the streamer's fans. During the broadcast, he shared details of his decision, stating that he decided to 'just going to go live on Sunday', and that just a few people knew about his return to Twitch. Furthermore, Sykkuno did not definitively state whether he would be multi-streaming or continue streaming exclusively on Twitch. The new rules of the purple platform provide more opportunities for content creators to multi-stream, but Sykkuno doesn't have anything planned yet.

Sykkuno's comeback stream lasted for over eight hours, during which the content creator had the opportunity to interact with viewers and play Elden Ring and Valorant. At its peak, the broadcast was watched by over 27,000 concurrent viewers: only three out of several hundred of the streamer's YouTube broadcasts gathered more viewers over the last two years. The streamer's record on YouTube is 41,000 Peak Viewers, which is exactly how many gathered for his first broadcast on the platform.

Sykkuno began his streaming career on Twitch, with his first broadcast taking place in May 2019. Throughout his time on the platform, he has conducted over 800 streams, with an average audience of over 20,000 concurrent viewers. However, during his exclusive streaming period on YouTube, the streamer's audience significantly decreased: over two years, Sykkuno's average viewership dropped to 9,000 concurrent viewers (based on statistics from over 500 broadcasts).
