Top Counter-Strike streamers & studio channels of Q1 2026

Top Counter-Strike streamers & studio channels of Q1 2026
Share:

Counter-Strike remains one of the defining titles in the global first-person shooter scene, combining straightforward, spectator-friendly gameplay with a skill ceiling that rewards deep understanding. This balance keeps broadcasts consistently engaging: casual viewers can follow the action with ease, while more invested audiences tune in to study advanced tactics, positioning and mechanical precision demonstrated at the highest level.

At the same time, the broader content ecosystem extends well beyond competitive Counter-Strike play. Niche formats such as case openings continue to attract dedicated audiences, particularly in specific regions, adding another layer to overall viewership.

Still, esports remains the central driver of the title’s global reach, supported by a mature tournament circuit and a large, established fanbase. This report explores viewership performance across both leading individual streamers and official channels operated by tournament organizers and independent broadcast studios.

Most watched Counter-Strike streamers of Q1 2026

Viewership dynamics in the first quarter of 2026 point to a clear pattern: professional esports coverage remains the primary driver of audience growth. Individual streamers who incorporated tournament broadcasts into their schedules generally outperformed those focused on casual gameplay. Platform strategy also played a role. While some creators stayed exclusive to Twitch, others expanded to YouTube and Kick through simultaneous streams, increasing their total watch time.

Alexandre "Gaules" Borba holds the top position in the rankings, maintaining his reach through a multi-channel network rather than a single personal stream. The “Gaulês TV” platform utilizes a team of casters and collaborators who manage broadcasts independently or alongside Borba. This network follows a near-continuous broadcasting model, providing live tournament coverage, highlight reels, and scheduled reruns. This high-volume output establishes the channel as a primary destination for Portuguese-speaking Counter-Strike viewers and ensures high watch time totals throughout the year.

Top 10 Counter-Striike Streamers Q1 2026

Ivan "StRoGo" Shurpatov follows in second place. His results come from a combination of tournament commentary and first-person coverage of his own competitive matches. By broadcasting his perspective during tier-2 and tier-3 events with WW Team, he provides viewers with direct access to team communication and in-game decision-making. This specific format remains a significant driver of engagement for his audience.

Igor "SL4M" Sopov occupies the third spot, representing veteran talent that has successfully transitioned from studio roles to independent broadcasting. He maintains a stable audience across Twitch and YouTube by leveraging his background as a professional caster. His performance indicates that established commentary figures continue to hold value for viewers outside of official tournament broadcasts.

English-speaking viewership is largely concentrated around Mark "ohnePixel" Zimmerman, who ranks fourth overall. His content spans competitive match coverage alongside skin-related segments such as case openings. Beyond the top tier, mid-level rankings include several Russian-speaking co-streamers, including Maksim "shadowkekw" Pavlov and Vadim "Evelone" Kozakov, reinforcing the region’s strong presence in overall viewership.

The quarter also saw contributions from active professional players and variety streamers. Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov, currently inactive in Team Spirit’s main lineup, focused on tournament coverage and provided detailed in-game analysis.

At the same time, creators from other titles began testing Counter-Strike content. Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart and TheBurntPeanut, both known for other FPS titles, explored the category in early 2026, while Hani "absi" Al-Qablan streamed the game on Kick. Although their viewership remained below that of dedicated esports broadcasters, their presence introduced the game to adjacent audiences.

Most watched Counter-Strike tournament operators and studios of Q1 2026

ESLBLAST Premier and PGL represent the primary organizers in the Counter-Strike ecosystem, with ESL securing the top position during the first quarter of 2026. This leadership is sustained through a high-volume broadcasting schedule that incorporates frequent reruns to maintain channel activity.

BLAST Premier follows in second place with a viewership total that remains competitive with ESL. The organization achieved this reach primarily through live tournament broadcasts, managing to bridge the gap despite a significantly lower total airtime compared to the market leader. PGL occupies the third spot in the rankings, employing a live-focused strategy similar to BLAST but finishing with lower engagement figures for the quarter.

Top 10 Counter-Striike Esports Organizers And Studios Q1 2026

Maincast holds the fourth position and remains within reach of PGL’s totals. The Ukrainian studio maintains its standing through a heavy reliance on reruns and the management of multiple simultaneous broadcasts, a practice it utilizes more extensively than ESL. This high-frequency replay model allows Maincast to generate consistent watch time across a variety of events, positioning the production house just behind the three major tournament organizers in the global viewership hierarchy.

The rankings also feature a range of regional studios and operators serving specific language audiences and competitive tiers. Russian-language coverage continues to play a major role, with Paragon and production teams tied to BetBoom’s esports initiatives (which also includes the Brazilian segment) appearing among the leaders.

In Western Europe, the French project CroissantStrike has emerged as a notable presence, closely associated with streamer and insider Sébastien "KRL" Perez and focused on supporting the tier-2 and tier-3 scenes. In Finland, Pelaajat.com serves as a central platform, combining media coverage with tournament operations, including regional qualifiers tied to BLAST.

In Portugal, RTP Arena operates as the esports division of the national public broadcaster and provides official Portuguese-language coverage for major events such as PGL, BLAST and ESL, while also organizing its own competitions, including the RTP Arena Cup.

Meanwhile, the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), managed by GRID Esports in partnership with regional organizers, maintained its position within the rankings. With online series spanning multiple regions, it continues to offer a consistent competitive structure for teams outside the top tier.
