Like any other profession, streaming involves professionals who do what they love and earn their living from this passion. Similarly, these online personalities are hired to broadcast their content on the best platforms and bring in as many viewers and subscribers as possible.

As a result, it becomes important for these companies to keep these popular internet figures happy, or else they always have the option to up sticks and move to a rival organization. This is especially true if these content creators are big names who consistently draw huge audience numbers and are valuable to the platform on a level above mere monetary values.

Kick has become the most happening streaming platform today, and there have been numerous rumors of popular content creators from Twitch joining the company. With that in mind, here’s a look at creators who have joined up with this new organization and those rumored to be doing the same.

Kick.com viewership statistics are now available on Streams Charts. Learn more about the popularity of the platform's streamers and categories (games).

Top three streamers who have already joined Kick

Trainwreck

Trainwreck joined the new site as a ‘non-owner advisor and non-exclusive broadcaster'  Trainwreck was one of the first to make the jump to Kick

One of the top streamers on Twitch when he announced he was leaving the platform, Tyler "Trainwreck" Niknam has been with Kick since the first week of December, before its full release. The former top-five creators in the world for the purple platform joined the new site as a ‘non-owner advisor and non-exclusive broadcaster,’ even helping the site clear out bugs during its initial testing run. However, it has not been revealed if he is anywhere connected to its ownership.

Trainwreck has since been a regular broadcaster on Kick, openly speaking about the company’s aim to become the new number-one streaming platform and signing top Twitch creators disgruntled with their current situations. The major reason for Tyler leaving the Amazon-owned organization was that it came down hard on gambling and betting streams, which were more or less his genres during the latter stages of his run there.

Adin Ross

Adin Ross

Adin Ross has been a controversial figure in the streaming community since his Twitch days, and this aspect of his personality has not gone away after his move to Kick in February. The popular American had quite a problematic time with his former employer, regularly getting banned for issues like using racial slurs, supporting gambling on stream, and broadcasting live events like the Super Bowl LVII, which is against company policy.

All this eventually took its toll as the internet star decided to move to Kick to enjoy more relaxed rules, while he also claimed to sign the “biggest streaming deal of any creator.” However, he has continued to make the odd bizarre statement, like claiming that many other top Twitch creators would soon join his organization a couple of weeks into his run with them, although that has not impacted his obvious popularity among audiences.

Buddha

Buddha's actual status with Kick and Twitch is still unsure  Buddha

Lucas "Buddha" Ramos is another name who grinded hard for years on Twitch before ultimately deciding to take advantage of what Kick had to offer and join them. However, there was a lot of controversy surrounding his move as the Canadian did not reveal he had switched companies, meaning he still creates content for the purple platform.

Buddha was also a content creator with the legendary esports organization, TSM, which is sponsored by Twitch. Hence, despite many assuming there would be implications to their relationship, he is still seemingly with them. As one of the leading GTA V creators today, especially thanks to his run in the highly-successful GTA RP server, the content creator will not worry that much as he continues to bring in solid viewership numbers.

Chica

Chica's seemingly innocuous emote was banned by Twitch, leading to her to claim she'll join kick  Chica jovially said she would join Kick

Maria “Chica” Lopez is the newest streamer linked with a move to Kick after she jokingly suggested the same when Twitch banned one of her emotes, chicaL. This was one in a row of seemingly bad decisions by the platform since the turn of the year, having also received flak for laying off thousands of employees and seeing their CEO retiring after 16 years.

While Chica’s case may not be serious, this is not the first time a Twitch creator has threatened, jokingly or otherwise, to leave and join a rival site. The banned emote was pretty innocuous, leading many to question the company’s policies once again, with Trainwrecks himself sharing his thoughts via laughing emojis.

Sodapoppin

Sodapoppin has a full plan when it comes to joining Kick  Sodapoppin might join Kick for the right money

Another massive Twitch name to have claimed to be ready to move to Kick is Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris. During a recent broadcast, the American was asked by a fan if he would consider switching to Kick if they offered a deal of three to five million, similar to Mixer, who he almost joined before it went down. He responded, rather jovially, that he would make the move as he was confident Kick would go out of business soon, like Mixer, thus paying out his contract before he found himself back with the purple platform.

While it doesn’t look like Kick will meet the same quick fate as Mixer any time soon, the fact that Sodapoppin would take a move if the money was right says a lot about any loyalty he has to Twitch.

xQc

xQC preferred to keep his cards close to him regarding any move to Kick  xQc is never one to commit full loyalty to any product

One of, if not the biggest, names on Twitch has discussed any potential move to Kick, albeit with a catch. During a recent appearance on Kai Cenat’s stream, xQc revealed that he would not be heading anywhere anytime soon, but nobody can predict the future.

The Canadian added that he doesn’t like giving yes or no answers to such questions due to the unpredictability of it all. As one of the creators with the highest viewership and sub counts on the site, losing him would be a big blow to Twitch, and it’s fair to say the company would do all it can to keep such a legendary name under its books.

About Kick

Kick is the newest streaming platform that has been creating waves recently, and it aims to one day become the top such site. Its full version was launched in January, positioning itself as a creator-friendly platform, but the details of its owners are still unclear. Some reliable sources claim that "Kick.com is a new venture created by the founders of Easygo and Stake.com," although none of these firms have verified this fact.

It has a Kick Creator Program that pays all streamers an hourly wage to stream, whether they have "1 viewer or 100,000." This pay will also be based on the hours spent streaming, a flat rate based on advertising CPMs, average viewers, and viewer demographics and engagement.

The organization also offers a proposed 95-5 revenue split favoring creators, promises no arbitrary or ambiguous bans, a 100% revenue share for any Kicks or donations, and support for gambling streams. With these perks being a definite draw, there is bound to be more movement of big-time content creators to the platform over the next few months.
