FaZe Clan, NRG, LOUD — which Twitch esports community is the most popular in April 2021?
Share:

The popularity of the world's leading esports organizations has long gone beyond just competitions in games. Most of them sign streamers to grow their fan base. Streams Charts will reveal which communities of esports clubs were the most watched on Twitch in April 2021.

Disclaimer. The rating is based on the sum of hours that viewers have spent on streamers’ broadcasts during the month. Esports viewership stats are not included.

Luminosity Gaming continues to lead the rankings (the team also took first place in March). In April, 31 streamers of Luminosity generated over 38M Hours Watched. The biggest contribution was made by Felix “xQcOW” Lengel — viewers spent 29.88M hours watching his streams. It is noteworthy that if Luminosity consisted only of xQc, the community would also be in first place in the April ranking.

Second place goes for FaZe Clan. In March the community took only the 4th place in the rating, while in April their Hours Watched grew by 16% and amounted to 21.4M. Only three community streamers contributed more than 1M HW: NICKMERCS (12M), Swagg (3.1M) and Mongraal (1.65M). A total of 57 people of this community streamed in April.

TSM took 3rd place this time (in March they were the 2nd). Community Hours Watched fell nearly 20% from last month, with GM Hikaru Nakamura becoming the most watched team streamer again with 2.66M Hours Watched in April.

The top 5 esports Twitch teams also include NRG Esports and the Brazilian community LOUD, but the difference between them is over 3.5M Hours Watched. NRG's numbers fell by 12% compared to March, while LOUD's Hours Watched increased by 18%Loud_coringa viewers brought the most to LOUD’s indicator: they’ve spent over 9M hours watching his streams.

Cloud9 (12.85M Hours Watched), G2 Esports (10.46M), Liquid (9.71M) and Team Heretics (8.85M) ranked 6-9. Japanese multi-gaming team DeToNator closed the top 10 esports communities on Twitch in April 2021 — 7.5M Hours Watched.
