The leaderboard for the most-watched Twitch teams in the second quarter of the year features some regular names that come up with entertaining content for viewers pretty often. A lot of known content creation faces have contributed to these units' audience reach, with Sentinels topping the esports organizations' rankings which has a podium dominated by names that consist primarily of English-speaking streamers.
There is a familiar name at the top of this table, as Loaded leads a top five that has more or less remained the same during our most recent monthly rankings, save for swapping positions amongst themselves. The organization hit 82M Hours Watched between April and June, although that did represent a drop of 10% from the first quarter of 2024. The major contributors to this continued success were tarik, Lord_Kebun, and summit1g, each touching the 10M HW mark during this period.
Mythic Talent is second after hitting 65.26M HW during Q2 2024, a solid quarterly rise of 20%. The squad continues to boast such impressive viewership numbers thanks to the quality of its roster, which includes personalities like zackrawrr, sodapoppin, Tectone, and Aztecross. However, it was Asmongold who did the heavy lifting as the only entry to pass 10M HW.
GG Talent Group rounds off the podium thanks to 54.68M HW, signaling a rise of nearly 10% from Q1 2024. The firm has on its books internet stars like Elajjaz, forsen, and Insym, who were also some of the major contributors to this watch time figure, although their numbers are much lower than the best influencers from the top two teams.
INSIGHT, home to some of the most prominent German-speaking creators, is fourth, jumping up a spot from its June ranking despite a decline of 19% in its cumulative watch time from the first quarter. NoWay4u_Sir was by far the most-watched influencer on this team, but most of the top ten personalities by this metric also saw red when it came to quarter-on-quarter figures.
Popular media organization OTK comes in fifth, with its minor three-month watch time decline of 3% seeing it lose a place from its June ranking. Some of its top streamers were zackrawrr, EsfandTV, and sodapoppin, with the first name once again proving by far the most desired of the lot among audiences.
Among the five Twitch teams in the lower half of this top ten are three more regular appearance makers in Twitch Ambassadors, G FUEL, Chang Gang, and Tribo Gaules. The only esports representative is Sentinels, which continues to pull in a healthy number of viewers every time it plays or its content creators come online.
Sticking with esports communities, with the top spot making the overall list, we move to the other names in the top five. Japan's ZETA DIVISION was the only organization to post an improvement in its quarterly watch time of 22% which helped it finish fourth in Q2.
The other entries here — Spacestation Gaming, TSM, and Team Liquid — all saw reductions in this QoQ HW figures, but did well enough to end as the more successful names. The third esports org also deserves an extra mention for the sheer time and effort put into its streaming activities, having put up an astounding airtime of 21,416 and a half hours thanks to a deep roster consisting of over a hundred influencers.
Brazil, one of the biggest markets for all things esports and entertainment, finds representation in the form of LOUD and FURIA, which took up the sixth and tenth spots. Sandwiched between them are European and international rosters from teams like FOKUS, Heretics, and FaZe.
As the top four have found positions in the overall leaderboard, the first fresh entry is Italy-based aNc. A hotbed for some of the most prominent Italian content creators today, including Tumblurr, TheRealMarzaa, and ManuuXO — the biggest contributors to the cumulative watch time of the company in the second quarter of the year — it has become one of the top teams on the purple platform over the last few months.
SIDEQUEST, one of the largest talent management companies in the streaming world, comes in sixth thanks to its concept that puts the creator first and all else after. 1UP, another all-German talent agency, is next, followed by the influencer marketing firm with a gaming focus: CIBERDIME. UTA, which represents the world's best artists, storytellers, entertainers, and brands, finds the last spot on the table despite a 40% fall in its overall watch time during this phase.
The only VTuber agency, and the one name that pops up regularly on these lists, to once again make the top ten was VShojo. The American company, which has streamers from English and Japanese language backgrounds, can count ironmouse, MichiMochievee, and Zentreya among its most watched influencers.
Atop this table is Mythic Talent, which saw a growth rate of 20.27% compared to the first quarter of 2024. It is one of the four names on this top-ten leaderboard that have found places in the overall table mentioned above, as the likes of 1UP, GG Talent Group, and ZETA DIVISION saw rises of 50.30%, 8.72%, and 22.03%, respectively.
Second is Taiwanese team 叉滴娛樂 XD.ent thanks to a substantial increment of 218.25%, which equates to around 6.5M HW. Leading the charge were 羅傑, NeVeR_LosEs, and 虧皮, the only streamers to accrue over a million hours watched between April and June.
The unique Twitch Women's Guild team takes the third spot thanks to a QoQ watch time increase of 4.8M HW or 45.44%. One name stood out for this unit as lilsimsie was the most-watched broadcaster with 1.3M HW, at least 246.1% more than any other member during this phase.
Cloud9, one of the biggest names among esports orgs, is fourth with an increment of 132.41%, led by the Brazilian duo of TcK10 and blackoutz, whose streams of Valorant and Fortnite helped them over 1M HW each. Rounding off the top five is EBLⱯN, a Russian Twitch community, which witnessed the largest percentage rise in HW of 787.04% among the top ten.
Mandatory.GG, the content creation team formed by ZeratoR, takes up the eighth spot, with its leader himself leading the charge almost single-handedly, touching 6.2M HW while no other member even passed 500K HW. Rounding off this leaderboard is Primal, led by American Aztecross as it posted a 118.74% jump in its quarterly watch time.
