Streams Charts continues its 2025 year-in-review series, this time unveiling the ranking of the most popular YouTube Gaming streamers. The list features top gaming creators and VTubers, along with streamers focused on esports, mobile games, and massively popular titles such as Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft.
Top YouTube Gaming Streamers of 2025 by Hours Watched
The most popular YouTube Gaming streamer of 2025 was American creator Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. He led the platform across all major metrics, including total hours watched, average viewership, and peak concurrent viewers. Over the course of 2025, IShowSpeed’s streams generated 69 million Hours Watched (HW) — roughly 36.8% more than the year before.
Notably, the increase in hours watched on IShowSpeed’s channel was driven entirely by higher airtime. The streamer nearly doubled his total broadcast time and stayed highly active throughout 2025. He attended major sporting events and show matches, hosted multiple gaming marathons with Kai Cenat, and kept audiences engaged with travel vlogs from Europe, China, Latin America, and an extensive tour across the United States.

At the same time, IShowSpeed saw a decline in both average and peak concurrent viewership. Even so, he still comfortably outperformed all other streamers by a wide margin in both metrics.

IShowSpeed followed by two Japanese VTubers: Miko Ch. and Pekora Ch.. Both appear regularly in our monthly and quarterly reports, making their presence in the year-end rankings hardly surprising.
The rivalry between Pekora Ch. and Miko Ch. stands out in particular. Both VTubers are part of the Hololive agency, deliver nearly identical performance metrics, and are currently competing for the title of the most popular female streamer of the year. In terms of content, their streams follow the classic VTuber formula — audience interaction combined with role-play–focused gaming sessions in GTA V, Minecraft, and other popular titles.
Fourth place in the rankings went to Alexandre “Gaules” Borba Chiqueta, a popular Portuguese-language Counter-Strike community caster. Throughout 2025, he covered nearly all of the major tournaments in the game, with a clear focus on teams from Brazil.
Kuzuha secured fifth place in the rankings, reaffirming his status as Japan’s most popular male VTuber. Throughout 2025, he kept viewers entertained with consistent livestreams of League of Legends, Valorant, and Grand Theft Auto V.
Sixth place in the rankings went to the channel of Vietnamese streamer MixiGaming, which generated nearly 34 million hours watched. This result was driven by streams of various indie titles, along with broadcasts focused on games from the Grand Theft Auto series.
One standout in the top ten is the Typical Gamer channel, which surpassed 32.8 million HW in 2025. Year over year, its hours-watched figure jumped by an impressive 123% — the largest growth among all streamers in the top 10. Typical Gamer focuses primarily on Fortnite content, though the creator also occasionally branches out into other games, including ARC Raiders and Roblox.
Brazilian streamer Gustavo “BaianoTV” Gomes earned his spot in the rankings largely due to his relentless streaming schedule. He posted the highest airtime of any streamer in the top 10, logging more than 2,711 hours on air in 2025 — roughly double the total of ranking leader IShowSpeed. BaianoTV is best known as an active League of Legends community caster, regularly covering all major matches across the top leagues. Today, he ranks among the most popular Portuguese-language League of Legends streamers.
Ade “Set1awanade” Pamungkas and Yash “LoLzZz Gaming” Thakker represent the mobile esports segment in our rankings. Throughout the year, both creators consistently covered major tournaments — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for Set1awanade and Battlegrounds Mobile India for LoLzZz Gaming.

As noted earlier, IShowSpeed remained the leader on YouTube Gaming in terms of average concurrent viewership. In 2025, his average viewership stood at nearly 53.3K viewers (AV). While this figure is roughly 33% lower than last year, it still comfortably surpassed that of his nearest competitors.

Schevenko “RRQ Skylar” Tendean also stood out in the rankings, claiming fourth place. A professional player who competed for RRQ Hoshi for several years, he went inactive at the start of 2025. In just a few months, he became one of the most popular YouTube Gaming streamers for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, mainly streaming his ranked matches and covering tournaments.
At the end of May, Skylar paused streaming to return to the professional scene, and by August, he had joined ONIC Esports. With his new team, he won the MPL Indonesia Season 16 and secured a spot at the M7 World Championship, scheduled for January 2026 in Jakarta.
Rounding out the top 5 is Abraham “ElAbrahaham” Flores, a popular streamer from Mexico with more than 9.3 million YouTube subscribers. He mainly specializes in entertaining Roblox and Minecraft streams alongside his friends. ElAbrahaham also creates reaction videos to humorous clips and reviews content from other creators, including Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson.

The most popular YouTube Gaming streamer by peak concurrent viewers was Mario Alfonso "DjMariiO" Garrido, a well-known fan of football and the EA Sports FC franchise. He reached a peak audience of 703,000 viewers, though this record was set not during a gaming broadcast, but during a football show tournament featuring popular YouTubers.
IShowSpeed take the second place and drew over 512K viewers during an IRL stream from Peru. In this trip, he was named “mayor” of Lima for a day and then explored the city’s landmarks with a police escort. For context, in 2024, IShowSpeed set the channel’s record with over one million peak viewers during an IRL stream from Indonesia — a milestone that still stands today.

Third place went to Vietnamese streamer Hoàng Luân, who set a record with 420.2K viewers during a 2025 World Championship stream. Throughout the year, Gaules primarily covered Counter-Strike tournaments, but his record stream — reaching a peak of 378,000 viewers — occurred during the Kings World Nations 2025 football show tournament.
Right behind Gaules was three VTubers from hololive: Shion Ch., Chloe Ch., and Kanata Ch.. Also making the list was Rivaldi "R7 Tatsumaki" Fatah, ex-professional player and popular Indonesian streamer best known for his Mobile Legends: Bang Bang livestreams. Caylus "CaylusBlox" Cunningham secured 8th place after a highly popular Roblox stream focused on showcasing the game’s latest updates.
Typical Gamer also landed in the top-10 for peak concurrent viewership, with his standout stream being a Fortnite broadcast showcasing the game’s Power Rangers collaboration. That stream drew 296,057 simultaneous viewers — a new record for Typical Gamer.
