Twitch has announced Partner Plus, a program for streamers where they can earn up to 70% of subscription revenue for a limited period of time. As the press release says, the program will launch in October 2023.
The main requirement for applicants to participate is that they must have at least 350 paid sbscriptions over the past three months. In this case, the streamer will be able to receive 70% of the cost of all purchased and gifted subscriptions over the next 12 months. Streamers also won't be affected if they will not satisfy the program's initial requirements during its course.
According to the company, only those streamers who meet the conditions in July, August, and September 2023 will be able to participate in the program. Another mentioned limitation is that the maximum amount that can be received in this way will be $100,000.
Twitch encouraged streamers to share feedback. You can read more about the program here.
Earlier, YouTube introduced early access to its own Partner Program, listing lower requirements for different content creators (not limited to live streamers). New opportunities have been opened up to content creators from the UK, Canada, USA, South Korea and Taiwan.
