Amsterdam is hosting one of the most anticipated streaming events of the year right now, the first TwitchCon since the pandemic. Among other activities, the organizers are holding Twitch Rivals tournaments at the event, two of which has already ended. Streams Charts tells about the competitions and how many viewers they have collected.

Hearthstone fans are delighted: for the first time in a long time, a LAN tournament for their favorite game took place at TwitchCon Amsterdam, and in two popular modes at once: Standard and Battlegrounds. Given the location of the event, Thijs from G2 Esports, one of the most popular HS players and streamers, could not help but become its host.

The prize pool of Twitch Rivals Thijs Hearthstone Tavern amounted to $50,000, and 16 creators of the platform became participants of the competition in both modes. All final battles took place in the beautiful Twitch Rivals Arena with live crowd in attendance. In Standard, e-athlete and T1 creator Chris Fenohs Tsako became the best, while Zorgo_HS won in Battlegrounds championship.

In addition to the Hearthstone competition, TwitchCon Amsterdam is hosting the third event in the Twitch Rivals Ultimate Challenge series. Unlike most other TR tournaments, famous streamers compete not only in video games, but also in various IRL activities at the Ultimate Challenge. The winners of two qualifiers and the best teams from the last event of the series, which took place in Barcelona, reached the finals, which will take place today.

As a result of the qualifiers, a lot of teams teams with top streamers of the platform reached the final of the event. Creators include Ponce, POW3Rtv, JeelTV, IzakOOO and Wirtual. The finals will begin very soon, you can follow the audience statistics of the event on this page.

Hilarious challenges are an essential part of the event

Today, on July 17, the third of the announced Twitch Rivals events for TwitchCon Amsterdam took place. In a competition called Craftmaster LIVE! 32 Minecraft players were divided into eight teams. Competitors took part in mystical challenges on a special map created for the event. In addition to Twitch Rivals, the tournament was co-organized by one of the most popular creators of Minecraft, Tubbo.

Many of the most popular Twitch streamers participated in the tournament, including TommyInnit, Wilbursoot, Ranboo, TheGrefg and others. But it was Falsesymmetry's team that came out on top, featuring OwengeJuiceTV, TapL and Illumina. They were the ones who received the award from the mysterious Craftmaster.

All competitions (or at least their final stages) were broadcast on the main Twitch Rivals channel, and also streams took place on the channels of the participants. The Hearthstone tournament showed the most modest audience figures out of three events with 'just' 56.9K Peak Viewers during the final battles. At the same time, the competition became the most popular in the discipline in more than a year and gathered two times more viewers at peak than the last World Championship (broadcast on YouTube).

In turn, the first day of Ultimate Challenge III and Craftmaster LIVE! showed similar audience results. Popular streamers participated in both events, which significantly increased the spectator figures of the competitions: the peaks were 109K and 118K Peak Viewers, respectively. At the same time, even greater numbers can be expected from the Ultimate Challenge, because the finals are ahead.
