The watch time and peak live rankings for YouTube Gaming in September 2025 were dominated by esports channels as the industry witnessed many important events. A few of these were even the season finales or world championships of certain titles, so there was additional focus on competitive video gaming last month.
We also witnessed a few streamers, including prominent VTubers, push the envelope of how much they streamed, reflected in their high placings. With that in mind, Streams Charts presents the red platform's leading gaming channels across two key viewership metrics: Hours Watched and Peak Viewers.
Top YouTube Gaming organization channels, September 2025
The most-watched organization channel on YouTube Gaming last month was LCK, the official channel of the League of Legends' Korean regional league. A format change this year meant that there was just one, year-long tournament to crown South Korea's top side, and this increase in length paid off with record-shattering Hours Watched (HW) numbers.
In fact, two other official channels covering LoL's biggest domestic circuit cracked the top ten, reinforcing its importance and prestige within the global esports community. LCK Tiếng Việt and LCK Global, the Vietnamese and English channels for the league, finished in the top ten with over 3 million HW each.
LoL's global rival, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, also found a top-three spot thanks to the official channel of its biggest regional league, MPL Indonesia. Moreover, two channels covering Battlegrounds Mobile India — NODWIN Gaming and KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS — made the top ten, reiterating the slow rebirth of the game's competitive scene after its ban in India.
A mention must also go to the official dota2 channel, which covered the 2025 edition of the slowly rehabilitating The International. Interestingly, a fighting games channel, Capcom Fighters JP, cracked this leaderboard, thanks to coverage of some of Street Fighter 6's biggest events: Street Fighter League Pro-JP 2025 and CAPCOM Pro Tour 2025 Premier Ultimate Fighting Arena 2025.
Esports entries dominated the peak live viewers table as well, with many of the names above repeating the trick by appearing here as well. However, the topper is the Nintendo of America channel, which hosted a highly successful edition of Nintendo Direct on September 12.
We also have another showcase that made the top ten, and it was yet another Japanese company. Sony's official PlayStation channel livestreamed the latest State of Play, and although it hit a two-year series viewership low, its 458,571 Peak Viewers (PV) was enough to put it in this top ten list.
Top YouTube Gaming streamers, September 2025
Among content creators, Andre "Typical Gamer" Rebelo maintained his run at the top despite a steep 69% fall in his monthly watch time. He was followed by a couple of Roblox streamers, including perhaps the biggest name in the game, Forrest "KreekCraft" Waldron, who was also not as active as he was in August but managed to stay in the top five.
A slew of VTubers also made these top ten standings, including regular guests like Miko Ch., Pekora Ch., and Kuzuha Channel. As usual, their content revolved around games that are more popular in their homeland of Japan, like Konami Digital Entertainment Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
We also had prominent Southeast Asian creators like Ade "set1awanade" Setiawan Pamungkas and Windah Basudara maintain their run as some of the most-watched YouTube Gaming streamers. The latter spent a lot of September 2025 playing Silent Hill f, one of the most anticipated titles this year that has received mostly positive reviews so far.
A lot of the same names from above made the peak live viewers table as well, including Brazilian Counter-Strike icon Alexandre "Gaules" Borba. His livestreams from last month were mostly focused on covering the myriad top-tier events in the legendary shooter. Speaking of shooters, Harsh Khelraay, a rising Valorant streamer from India, found a place here thanks to his watch party during the Valorant Champions 2025 Playoffs.
Rising Roblox creator CaylusBlox was the topper in this instance, and the only one to pass the 200,000 PV mark. VTuber 崩壊:スターレイル also made an appearance, with her September 12 livestream reaching almost 91,000 PV as she previewed the Back to Earth in Evernight update in the popular role-playing gacha video game, Honkai: Star Rail.
We even had the official channel of the head of an esports organization make the cut. Delwyn Sukamto, the CEO and Founder of Alter Ego Esports, saw his channel take the fifth spot. The channel aims to create a safe community where viewers and fans watch esports and play games together.
