Z Event 2022 has been announced, and this means it will be the seventh year in a row that this event takes place. The Z Event is an annual charity event from one of the biggest French streamers, ZeratoR and his friend DacH. This event has the goal of raising as much money as possible for selected charity institutions.
The 2022 edition will be no different. 56 streams from France will participate in the event, which will take place from the 8th to the 11th of September, in Montpellier. They will try to raise as much money as possible for Sea Shepherd, LPO, WWF, and The SeaCleaners, which are the charity institutions to which the money raised from this event will go.
Just like in previous years, every streamer will have a donation goals list. Whenever a goal on that list is surpassed, well the streamers will have to fulfill a pledge or complete the challenge that was tied with that donation goal. For example, Ponce donation goals start at 5K, where he will have to do a tier list of the Mario Kart maps, and ends at 5 million. If he reaches the 5 million donation mark, the streamer will have to stay in Paris.
Last year the event was an amazing success, raising €10 million for charity, and even French president Emmanuel Macron praised the initiative. This year Z Event will be looking to once again break the charity record they established last year, and raise more than €10 million.
Z Event 2021 Viewership Statistics
As mentioned previously the 2021 edition of Z Event was a huge success. Viewers from all around the world watched 22 million hours of the event. The event's Peak Viewership was 1.3 million, and it happened on the broadcast of ZeratoR, one of the creators of the event.
It also had a big number of Average Viewers, with 379K viewers watching the streams of the events on a regular basis. The donation total was that of €10 million, and every single one of the 56 streamers that will be attending the 2022 event will do their best to surpass this amount.
If there is one thing that the Z Event has thought us, is that everything is possible when a big group of people comes together to accomplish a goal.
