Top French streamers joined in another edition of the Z Event charity marathon, setting a new donation record in the process. Between September 5 and 7, Z Event 2025 raised over €16.1 million and had the highest viewership in years. According to the organizers and Twitch, it’s the largest sum ever collected during a charity livestream marathon.
The first Z Event marathon was held in 2016, originally under the name Avengers Project. It was created and spearheaded by popular streamer Adrien “ZeratoR” Nougaret. The concept is simple but powerful: gather France’s top content creators in one place and raise money for charity through collaborations and online shows. For 2025, the event supported French non-profits focused on cancer research and patient care.
World record alert! This community is mindblowing ?@ZeratoR and team just broke the world record for charity money raised on any streaming service.

Z Event 2025 featured many of France’s most popular streamers, including ZeratoR himself, Rayenne “Etoiles” Guendil, Toma “JLTomy” Abdellaoui, and more. Over 330 unique channels covered the event, with most streamers broadcasting live from the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier. This setup made it easy for them to drop in on each other’s streams throughout the weekend. To add even more entertainment, the organizers also hosted a live concert and welcomed special guests, including musicians who worked on the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Z Event 2025 streams racked up over 17 million hours watched, with a peak of 784,599 concurrent viewers. Both figures mark the second-highest in the marathon’s history, surpassed only by the record-setting 2021 edition.
The standout streamer of Z Event 2025 was Pierre-Alexis “Domingo” Bizot, whose channel peaked at 259,237 concurrent viewers. It was the second-biggest stream of his career, topped only by his record-setting broadcast during Z Event 2024. The streamer kept the audience engaged with fun challenges and lively conversations with guests.

Z Event is among the most popular charity marathons in livestreaming, but it’s not the only one. Recently, YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson hosted his first-ever stream on Kick, raising around $12 million for the Team Water charity initiative. He was joined on the broadcast by Adin Ross and Félix “xQc” Lengyel.
Z Event 2025 once again proved the power of livestreaming to unite communities for a greater cause. What started as a small project nearly a decade ago has grown into one of the most impactful charity events in gaming — and each year, it only raises the bar higher.
