On August 14, the world’s most popular YouTuber, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, went live on Kick for the very first time. The debut stream was part of a massive marathon he’s hosting alongside Adin Ross and Félix “xQc” Lengyel to support his Team Water charity initiative.
Team Water is a fundraising campaign, similar to Team Trees and Team Seas, started by MrBeast and Mark Rober to provide clean drinking water to people around the world. The campaign aims to raise $40 million to give 2 million people access to clean water for decades, with each dollar donated providing one year of clean water.

MrBeast kicked off a streaming marathon on Kick to raise funds for Team Water. At first, he vowed not to end the stream until donations hit $5 million — a milestone reached in just a couple of hours. He then raised the target to $8 million, but viewers quickly smashed that goal too. As of this article’s publication, roughly 12 hours into the marathon, participants had already raised $9.5 million toward the $12 million target.
MrBeast’s marathon is full of engaging activities — from streamers challenging each other and sharing plenty of laughs to answering viewer questions and chatting with a constant lineup of guests. No one knows how long the event will last, but it’s clear MrBeast has already met — and far surpassed — his original goals.
MrBeast Viewership Statistics on Kick
It’s too early to wrap up the marathon’s viewership stats while the stream is still live, but some early numbers stand out. MrBeast’s Kick debut hit a peak of 76.7K viewers in its very first hour, placing him 4th among all channels streaming on August 14. His Kick channel has already surpassed 186K followers — all gained within just 24 hours of his first broadcast.
