The main part of the Z Event charity marathon starts on October 29,organized by French streamer Adrien ZeratoR Nougaret and Alexandre Dachary. The event has been held since 2016 with donations going to various charitable organizations. At the end of the last event the total sum exceeded €5.7 million.
The Z Event brings together dozens of the most popular French content creators including JLTomy, Gotaga, Kamet0, chowh1, Solary and many more. Throughout the weekend, they will open cards and stickers from Pokémon, participate in quizzes, play games and answer questions from viewers.
The main part of the marathon is fundraising for charity. In five years, content makers have sent Save the Children, The French Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières, Institut Pasteur and Amnesty International almost €11 mln in total.
This time streamers are raising money for the humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger. At the moment, the total amount of donations is about €16,000. One can make a contribution here.
Z Event attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators. Every year the number of streamers of the event is growing, and the peak audience last time reached almost 700 thousand people.
An opening ceremony of the marathon took place on October 28 during which a concert was held with the participation of Sofiane, Kikesa and other artists. The stream reached over 141K Peak Viewers, which is the best result on French-speaking Twitch in a week.
