Everything to know about Drake’s $1 million giveaway livestream

Everything to know about Drake’s $1 million giveaway livestream

Drake is preparing for another major livestream on Kick. The Canadian rapper will go live on Saturday, August 8, at 8:00 p.m. ET, with $1 million in prizes set to be distributed among viewers during the broadcast.

The show will air on Drake’s official Kick channel. One viewer will receive the stream’s largest individual prize of $50,000, with the winner selected live. The event will also form part of Stake’s ongoing anniversary celebrations.

What to expect from Drake’s next Kick stream

The upcoming broadcast continues the Drake partnership with Stake, which has regularly brought the rapper to Kick for special events and large-scale viewer giveaways.

Drake’s previous broadcasts on Kick

Drake’s appearances have historically generated substantial interest on the platform. His current Kick channel has more than 370,000 followers, while Streams Charts data shows that his all-time record on the platform stands at more than 202,000 Peak Viewers.

Drake will return to Kick on August 8 for a livestream featuring $1 million in viewer giveaways.

His most recent Christmas broadcasts took place across three days in December 2025. Each stream lasted between roughly one hour and forty minutes and two and a half hours, averaging between 24,500 and 31,900 concurrent viewers. One of the standout moments came when Drake surprised fellow creator BenDaDonnn with a customized Rolls-Royce during the holiday run.

Giveaways have been part of Drake’s Kick presence for several years. In June 2023, a subscription giveaway on his channel reached more than 105,000 concurrent viewers, making him one of Kick’s most popular creators that month.

Drake remains at the center of music and internet culture

The timing of the new stream gives viewers several reasons to watch beyond the announced prizes. Drake has spent much of 2026 at the center of music and online entertainment news.

His album ICEMAN helped him reach 17 No. 1 titles on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, tying the long-standing mark held by The Temptations. Future later joined them at the top of the ranking.

The album’s release also demonstrated how closely Drake now connects music promotion with livestreaming. Rather than relying on a conventional rollout, ICEMAN was introduced through live episodes, city-based stunts, video premieres, and reactions from creators across Kick, Twitch, and YouTube. Streams Charts previously examined how the ICEMAN campaign turned a music release into a cross-platform live event.

Drake’s Iceman release-night rollout generated over 767,000 Peak Viewers across more than 5,000 Twitch, Kick and YouTube channels

Drake was also pulled into another viral internet moment in July, when his official YouTube channel was briefly affected by unauthorized uploads. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” appeared on the channel, immediately reviving discussion around the artists’ highly publicized feud.

Sports fans have had their own reason to follow Drake news. The rapper lost a reported $1.5 million after backing Argentina against Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Spain’s 1:0 victory in extra time brought the long-running “Drake Curse” joke back into circulation.

How to watch Drake’s August 8 livestream

Drake’s upcoming stream begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 8. Viewers can watch it directly through his official channel on Kick.

Streams Charts will track the channel’s performance and update its Drake viewership statistics once the broadcast concludes.
