This new installment, the last in the series, has received rather good reviews from critics and began to be actively broadcast on Twitch. The early access of FIFA 23 offers players the full range of the game features, including regular matches, cooperative seasons and a career mode. Moreover, many gamers have already drafted their dream squad in the popular Ultimate Team mode, as the required FIFA 23 Web App and FIFA 23 Companion App were released back on September 21 and 22. It should be noted that most creators started streaming the FIFA 23 category immediately after the release of these apps, opening the Ultimate Team card packs on their broadcasts.
After less than two days in early access, FIFA 23 has broken into the Top 2 most-watched categories on Twitch. The football simulator accumulated more than 10.3 million Hours Watched, 52% behind Just Chatting, steadily the most popular category on the platform. Meanwhile, FIFA 23 outpaced World of Warcraft, Valorant, GTA V and LoL by more than 60% of HW.
The most watched FIFA 23 streamer in the first days of the game' early access is German creator eliasn97, who amassed 1.1 million HW. Another streamer from Germany, Trymacs, is in second place with just over 1 million HW. It should be noted that these streamers played in a co-op with other German creators for some time, including SidneyEweka, who ranks 10th. At the same time, two other German streamers (MontanaBlack88 and TisiSchubech) played separately from them.
American streamers rank third and fifth respectively: Castro_1021's result is more than three times higher than that of runthefutmarket. The French streamer RocKy_, the Brazilian streamer Gaules and parisplatynov became the only representatives of their language segments in the Top, accumulating under 150K HW.
Comparing the start of FIFA 23 early access with FIFA 22 one, we can see that the performance of the new installment of the game proved to show a noticeably higher result. The PV number grew by 4.9%, the AV and HW numbers grew by 20.9%. At the same time, the PV number on the channels broadcasting the game is 22.6% higher, the AV number is 62.2% higher, and the category itself climbed one position higher on the Twitch chart.
