Ironmouse’s 31 days-long Twitch subathon ends with a record-breaking result

Ironmouse’s 31 days-long Twitch subathon ends with a record-breaking result
Share:

After 31 days of streaming, the subathon of the popular Twitch streamer Ironmouse ended with a new Twitch record. The VTuber star not only became the third most subscribed Twitch channel of all time, but also the most-subscribed female Twitch streamer ever. Furthermore, she’s currently Twitch’s most-subscribed streamer, surpassing the likes of xQcOWHasanAbi and NICKMERCS by tens of thousands of subs.

Ironmouse started the uncapped subathon in February, with every subscription and Twitch bits donation of $5 or more adding 15 seconds to the clock. The continuous stream proved to be a huge success, as Ironmouse’s audience delivered enough subs and donations for the content creator to meet her goal of a month-long broadcast.

When her time was finally up after 724 total hours of streaming, her subscriber count was over 170K subs. For the most part, she was streaming in the Just Chatting category (82% of her total HW), but she also spent some time streaming a variety of games including Resident Evil 2Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilverElden RingGod of WarJump King and Minecraft.

Ironmouse’s 31 days-long Twitch subathon viewership results

During her subathon, Ironmouse accumulated over 9M Hours Watched, becoming the tenth most watched streamer on Twitch. Her audience accounted for 12.5K Average Viewers who generated 951K unique views. The broadcast peaked on 23rd February when over 31K concurrent viewers tuned in. Ironmouse’s Follower Gain during this time was 153.6K followers

Towards the end of the subathon, Ironmouse faced a wave of criticism saying that the stream was “boring”. She dismissed the critique in her stream, stating that she doesn’t necessarily stream to entertain her audience, but rather to hang out with people.

Ironmouse is a Puerto Rican virtual YouTuber and streamer who has been streaming since summer 2017. She is a part of the biggest Twitch VTuber group VShojo which is also an agency dedicated to the growth and success of its members. She is known for singing, her high-pitched voice and her lighthearted behaviour. While he has never revealed her face on social media platforms, she presents her anime-like character as a friendly, fun-loving demon queen.

Ironmouse’s subathon was yet another display of the popular Twitch trend, first introduced last year by Ludwig’s 31-day stream, which resulted in over 273K subs and 30M Hours Watched. Countless streamers have been running their subathons since, including Emilycc, who is at the time of writing this article hosting the longest Twitch subathon to date, currently live on its 122nd day. Another notable subathon was the one held by Kkatamina, which ended with 73.6K total subs, making her the most subbed female Twitch streamer before Ironmouse overtook the title. However, nobody has yet managed to overtake Ludwig’s record.

DisguisedToast also recently tried a new format of continuous broadcast called viewerthon, where the stream ends when it falls below a certain number of viewers. The stream lasted six days.
