Kai Cenat has done it again. The Twitch superstar has snatched the record for the most subscribed streamers on the platform back from ironmouse, who had only beaten his previous mark at the start of October during her annual charity subathon.
The American youngster sits at 334,124 subscriptions at the time of writing, soaring past the VTubing star's milestone of 326,252 subs during Day 11 of his ongoing subathon. The two remain the only two internet stars on the purple platform to break the barrier of 300K subscribers.
Kai initially broke the record for most subscriptions in March last year during the first edition of his career-defining subathon, labeled the Mafiathon. He surpassed YouTube sensation Ludwig's mark of 283,066 subs and ended his live-streaming exercise with 306,518 subs.

The 2023 subathon on Twitch put him among the content creation elite and made him a household name across the globe. It also helped solidify his status as one of the most followed and watched streamers out there, with this reputation helping him attract guests like Kevin Hart and Nicki Minaj.
After ironmouse went past his record last month, many felt it was a matter of time before Kai Cenat responded. And he did just that, announcing the second edition of his Mafiathon series a few days after congratulating his peer on a record well-earned.
This subathon has again helped the 22-year-old post new records, putting him atop the subscriptions table around ten days into his 24x7 broadcasting activity. It has also helped make him the most watched channel across platforms this month, having so far clocked 26.7M Hours Watched.
With at least 20 days of live streaming still to come, Kai Cenat could very well establish a subscription record that might prove insurmountable, even for the likes of ironmouse. For now, his fans can celebrate another career-defining achievement from their favorite influencer, even as he continues to wow viewers with his ongoing subathon.
