Kick just announced a partnership with OTK

Kick just announced a partnership with OTK

The streaming platform Kick has announced a partnership with the streamers organization One True King, a group made up of several top U.S.-based Twitch streamers. As part of the collaboration, OTK members will host a series of events to celebrate the launch of Kick Studios.

Social media users have already discussed that OTK streamers might start going live on Kick. However, no official announcements have been made until now. The creators will likely continue streaming wherever they believe is best for their content and brand growth. For now, the partnership with Kick seems to focus solely on launching a few specific shows.

As a reminder, Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt (aka zackrawrr), a former core member of OTK who recently left the agency, previously announced plans to multistream on Kick. On the flip side, current OTK co-owner and American streamer Matthew ‘’Mizkif’’ Rinaudo has publicly stated that he will never stream on Kick, citing a personal conflict with the platform’s leadership as the reason behind his stance.

One True King (OTK) is an American media and entertainment group focused on content creation, livestreaming, and esports. Today, it's one of the largest streamer communities on Twitch. In 2024, OTK streamers collectively generated over 176.3 million hours of watch time (HW) — ranking fifth among all streamer collectives on the platform, including talent agencies and esports organizations.

Following Asmongold’s departure, OTK saw a sharp decline in its overall Twitch viewership. The downward trend continued when Mizkif stepped back from active involvement in the community in February 2025. Despite the drop in numbers, OTK still ranks among the top 10 most-watched streamer teams on Twitch for the first half of the year.

As of 2025, Thomas ‘’Sodapoppin’’ Morris and Emily ‘’Emiru’’ Schunk are the most-watched OTK streamers on Twitch. Together, they've already racked up over 28 million HW in just the first half of the year.

In the coming months, Kick’s partnership with One True King will be a touchstone for how emerging platforms and established creator networks can coalesce around shared goals — delivering fresh, engaging content while expanding each other’s reach. Whether it’s event-driven spectacles on Kick Studios or multistream experiments from high‑profile personalities, this collaboration signals a new era of platform‑agnostic creativity. As both Kick and OTK test the waters, viewers should keep an eye on how these shows perform, where top talent ultimately plants their flag, and what this might mean for the broader livestreaming landscape. One thing is certain: with two ambitious players joining forces, the next chapter of creator‑led entertainment promises to be as dynamic as it is unpredictable.
