For a long time, the minimum withdrawal amount from Twitch was $100, and this caused a lot of inconvenience for many streamers. As the way to resolve the problem, Amazon-owned company lowered the threshold to $50, but this feature is currently only available in a limited number of countries. Streams Charts presents a list of countries where this practice is already in use.
The first countries where the new practice is applied were announced in mid-July. Until November 2022, the company will announce new countries. It is likely that the practice will subsequently be extended worldwide, but Twitch has not yet officially announced anything.
Announced countries with $50 Minimum Payout
- July 15 — (Argentina, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan)
- August 15 — (Australia, Chile, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru)
- September 15 — TBA
- October 15 — TBA

As Twitch announced, lower $50 minimum payout is available through ACH/direct deposit, eCheck/local bank, PayPal, and check. Processing wire transfer payouts will require a $100 minimum due to transfer fees. One can find more information on the matter in FAQ.
