Minecraft Live is the game's annual presentation that happened on the 15th of October. The event started in 2010 and since then it became an annual event where fans get to know the plans for the Minecraft universe over the next year. Every year, changes, new game modes, skins, and more are announced at Minecraft Live, and this time it was no different. On a live broadcast, that was streamed by the official Minecraft YouTube channel, but also by many content creators from multiple platforms, fans were able to see what they can expect from Minecraft in the future.

The big announcement of the event was Minecraft 1.20, the game's new update that will come in the near future. Some of the new things this update will bring are camels, hanging signs, bamboo building blocks, and many others that will be gradually revealed in the future. According to the Minecraft team, this update will focus on “representation, storytelling, and self-expression”, to make the game more “Minecraftier”.

However, this wasn't the only big announcement made in the broadcast. The arrival of the long-awaited action strategy game Minecraft Legends was announced, with the game releasing in the Spring of 2023. Viewers were able to get a glimpse of how the game will look like, and its gameplay. Fans also got to know three very important characters of the game called “Knowledge, Action, and Foresight”. We also had the chance to watch a 4 player co-op live gameplay for Minecraft Legends, which left many fans wishing for 2023 Spring to arrive quickly.

The developing team also shared some updates on what’s next for the popular game Minecraft Dungeons. Fauna Faire, the game's third seasonal adventure arrives on the 19th of October and brings a lot of new things. It allows players to adopt new pets, and also role-play as their favorite animals. It will also have new skins, emotes, and other types of free content. Before that players will be able to enjoy the Spooky Fall, which will take place between the 26th of October and the 9th of November, and players will be able to earn some time-limited rewards.

Seven new default skins are arriving at the game allowing players to have more options to choose from, instead of the previously limited choice option between Alex and Steve. The new default skins Makena, Kai, Ari, Zuri, Sunny, Efe, and Noor, will be available on the 29th of November.

New DLCs will also be available in the game marketplace, with the Batman DLC being the most awaited by the fans. It will give players the chance to explore some of the most iconic places in Gotham city, such as the Wayne Tower, and the Batcave. As tradition demands the annual Minecraft Live Mob Vote also took place. Fans had three mobs to choose from, with the most voted being added to the game in the near future. This time the community choose Sniffer to be added to the game.
