Some of the most popular streamers on Twitch are from North America, with many of them being from Canada. They entertain thousands of viewers every day, and fans watch their broadcasts for millions of hours every month. So we at Streams Charts decided to gather all the available stats to present you with the most popular Twitch streamers from Canada in October 2022.
In the first place, we have one of the faces of the platform, xQc, who is clearly the most popular Twitch streamer in the country & arguably in the entire world. Following him we have popular FPS streamer and ex-CS:GO pro player shroud. He played multiple games during October, but Overwatch 2 was his most played game by a significant margin. He had 62K Peak Viewers, which were achieved while he played the Blizzard Entertainment title.
Called by many the queen of Twitch, pokimane was the third most popular streamer with 41K Peak Viewers. Pokimane is one of the faces of Twitch and is very well-known and respected in the streaming industry. During October Pokimane streamed mainly Overwatch 2, and Just Chatting. Ex-Overwatch professional player Surefour was also among the most popular streamers of the month. He had 28K PV and finished in fourth place, followed by professional Valorant player for Sentinels, and arguably the most popular player in Valorant, TenZ who also had 28K PV.
When it comes to the most watched streamers, it's once again xQc who sits comfortably at the top, with 11.5 million Hours Watched. Proving that he truly is the most popular streamer from Canada, no matter the metric we use. Shroud is also present on this list, and just like in the previous one he secured second place, with 3.4 million Hours Watched.
Kyedae is one of the most famous Valorant streamers on the platform and is arguably the most popular when it comes to just female streamers. She streams Valorant daily, and entertains thousands of viewers with her great plays, and also some fails. Unfortunately, Kyedae plays with a lot of stream snipers, making some games not very enjoyable for the streamer. Despite that, Kyedae always maintains a positive attitude. Viewers watched her for 1.43 million hours, securing her third place.
In fourth place, we have buddha, which is the only GTA V RP streamer on this list. Buddha streams the game daily, and thousands of viewers tune in regularly to watch his adventures. His streams were watched for 995K hours. The variety streamer 39daph closes the top five with 809K Hours Watched.
Worth noting that FoxenKin is the only ASMR streamer in this top ten. Her mission is to help people fall asleep, especially the ones that have a hard time doing so, and also help people destress. Viewers from all around the globe love her content, and in October, her broadcasts were watched for 674K hours.
As we can see there are plenty of talented and unique content creators in Canada, and we have many other gifted streamers that didn’t make both of these lists, but still entertain plenty of viewers regularly. We need to highlight xQc who built a gigantic and loyal fan base that is growing every month. The streamer is clearly the most popular content creator in the country, and it won't be an easy task to surpass him.
