The Streams Charts editorial staff keeps summing up the results achieved by streamers from different countries in October. In a new article, we have compiled the most popular content creators from Japan, whose channels on Twitch got the most Peak Viewers and Hours Watched.

Top by Hours Watched

Leaders by Hours Watched

Fps_shaka, the leader of the Twitch team DeToNator, became the most watched streamer in Japan in October. He racked up 5.3 million Hours Watched over the month. The content creator is known as one of the most popular community casters of Valorant tournaments, but October didn't have any Majors in the discipline, so his metrics sagged noticeably. In addition to the Riot Games shooter streams, he also ran a lot of League of Legends broadcasts last month.

Stylishnoob4, a streamer from the Japanese esports organization ZETA DIVISION, comes in second place in the ranking. He got 4.4 million HW in October, mostly playing Overwatch 2. Now stylishnoob4 is the most watched streamer in Japan playing the new shooter by Blizzard.

K4sen, one more streamer from the Japanese ZETA DIVISION team, takes third place in the ranking. In October, he increased his Airtime by about 15%, which boosted his channel's HW number to 2.7 million. Last month, k4sen mostly broadcasted Overwatch 2, Genshin Impact, and League of Legends.

Kato_junichi0817 is fourth in the ranking of Japanese streamers. He didn't stream much in October, but his channel still accumulated 1.8 million HW. He is one of the few content creators in this ranking who has the Just Chatting category as a dominant one. Usually, top Japanese streamers would rather play something than simply chat with viewers. However, kato_junichi0817 also spent time playing video games, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Vampire Survivors

SPYGEA is fifth in the ranking and the last of the Japanese streamers to rack up more than a million HW (1.05 million) in October. He streamed 12% longer last month, which increased his HW total slightly, but the number of Average Viewers on his channel remained almost the same as a month ago. Like other streamers, SPYGEA most often streams Overwatch 2 and Valorant.

Jasper7se (798K), sasatikk (783K), yukiofps14 (738K), mother3rd (541K) and ta1yo_tv (502K) were also in the Top 10 by Hours Watched in October. They achieved these results largely by streaming Overwatch 2, Valorant, and Apex Legends. ta1yo_tv demonstrated the greatest progress: in October, the number of HW and AV on his channel increased by 230%. This growth can be attributed to the release of Overwatch 2 and the giveaways to viewers for watching broadcasts of the game.

Top by Peak Viewers

Leaders by Peak Viewers

Kato_junichi0817 became the October leader of the Japanese ranking by Peak Viewer. On October 30, he hosted a stream in the Just Chatting category, during which he chatted with viewers. This was the moment when his channel attracted almost 46K people who watched the stream concurrently.

Fps_shaka comes in second place of the ranking, attracting more than 40.5K PV on his most popular stream. This happened on October 23, when he broadcasted an episode of one of the Japanese entertainment talk shows in the Just Chatting category.

stylishnoob4 rounds out the Top 3 of the ranking with a result of 31.9K PV. This number of viewers watching the broadcast was recorded on October 6, when the Japanese streamer played The Bathhouse, a horror game.

Obormentv takes fourth place. In October, his channel saw 30.1K Peak Viewers, which is 320% greater from a month earlier. The channel's record was set during chatting with viewers in the Just Chatting category.

k4sen ranks fifth in the Top 5 by Peak Viewers, attracting 27.9K PV on his most popular broadcast in October. This happened when the streamer was watching the same Japanese talk show as fps_shaka, during which the latter also saw the Peak Viewers number on his channel.

The Top 10 of the Japanese streamers by Peak Viewers also includes Jasper7se (23.2K), darumaisgod (17.4K), SPYGEA (16.3K), yukiofps14 (15.5K) and oniyadayo (13.9K). Most often, a Peak Viewers number on these channels was reached on Valorant, Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends streams.
