Streams Charts continues to sum up Twitch results of February 2023. At the end of the month, the leader among teams on the platform changed. Now the overall Top has more squads of tournament organizers rather than esports organizations with popular streamers.

Most popular Twitch teams of February 2023The overall Top features fewer esports teams

The Riot Games team became the leader among all Twitch teams in February 2023. Thanks to the League of Legends regional leagues broadcasts, the official tournament channels accumulated a total of over 20 million Hours Watched. The LEC channel with the official English-language broadcast of the European league accounted for most of it — 6.3 million HW. The channel of the Korean league LCK is in second place with 4.3 million HW. We should also note that in addition to League of Legends channels, the Riot Games team also includes VALORANT_BR, which hosted the official broadcast of VCT 2023 LOCK//IN Sao Paolo in February. In one month, this channel accumulated 1.5 million HW.

Streams Charts has a separate page with constantly updated rankings of the most popular streamer teams on Twitch. Only the Top 20 teams are available for free, but with our PRO subscription you get unlimited access to the entire ranking, as well as convenient filters by language, games, countries, etc.

Loaded and G FUEL retained their positions in the Top 5, although they accumulated slightly fewer Hours Watched than in January (remember the difference in the number of days in these months). Luminosity Gaming and Sentinels also made it into the Top 5 and even increased their Hours Watched thanks to broadcasts by their leaders — xQc and Tarik. Recall that xQc left Luminosity back in January, but technically continues to be its member on Twitch (in February, his channel contributed over 14 million HW to the team's result). As for Tarik, he became the most popular VCT 2023 LOCK//IN Sao Paolo community caster last month and contributed over 9.1 million HW to Sentinels' total.

At the end of the month, teams like SpeedRunsLive, Cloud9 and Team Liquid dropped out of the overall Top 10, but Tribo Gaules and Rainbow 6 joined in. The latter two accumulated a lot of Hours Watched thanks to CS:GO tournaments (IEM Katowice 2023) and Rainbow Six Siege (Six Invitational 2023).

In general, we should note that the total number of esports teams in the Top became smaller — in February, their number decreased from five to three. For the most part, they gave way to channels that broadcast official broadcasts of major esports events. The only exception to this rule was Sentinels, which moved up several positions thanks to Tarik's streams of the Valorant tournament.
