Streams Charts has detailed the top YouTube Gaming channels and streamers in terms of watch hours for April. These lists contain a who’s who of the platform’s biggest names, having dominated for months and years and becoming household names worldwide.
Most watched YouTube Gaming channels
Atop the list of all YouTube Gaming channels once again is the MPL Indonesia, which was broadcasting the Season 11 of the in-demand Mobile Legends league. Despite running only for the just first nine days of the month, it reached 7.37M Hours Watched, pointing to its unmatched popularity among Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Bang’s various regional competitons. Making it two on the podium for this MOBA is the official English MLBB channel in third place, reiterating that perhaps no other esports discipline is as big as this on YouTube.
Second is the official channel of the Vietnamese version of Arena of Valor, Liên Quân Mobile eSports-Garena, with 5.26M HW. This was thanks to the Arena of Glory Spring 2023, one of the biggest events for the game, which is reaching its latter phase and got done with its Group Stage on April 29. With the Playoffs running till May 14, including the Grand Finals, expect the event to pop up high on next month’s list as well.
Fourth on this list for the red platform is Sensa Gaming, which broadcasts slots and virtual casinos. Having finished fourth in March, the channel continued to work around the month to ensure it remains in the top five. In fifth is a new entrant on this list, Pacman Love Friend, who streamed a lot of Train Simulator and Ms. Pac-Man in different languages, helping reach an impressive 4.16M HW in April.
Filling out the bottom half of this table are channels from esports like League of Legends (Vietnam Championship Series) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MPL Indonesia Season 11), apart from another slots and virtual casinos channel, ZEUSGACOR. VTubers Pekora Ch and Kuzuha Channel are the other two names occupying spaces here.
Most watched YouTube Gaming streamers
Unsurprisingly, atop this table is a Vtuber, Pekora Ch; in fact, the top two are broadcasters from this genre, with the other being Kuzuha Channel. That they have appeared on both leaderboards so far speaks to the quality of their content and their rising popularity as leaders in this still-growing field.
Third is NOBRU, the name in Brazilian YouTube Gaming streams, having hit 2.98M HW, down on his numbers from March when he topped the table. Next is Inoxtag, who has been busy playing popular games like Grand Theft Auto V, Fortnite, and Dead Island 2, which helped him beat 渋谷ハル, who reached 2.14M HW, having mostly played the famous battle royale shooter, Apex Legends.
In the bottom half of this standing is Spaniard VEGETTA777, who made the list last month as a new entrant thanks to his participation in Quackity’s Minecraft event. In ninth and tenth are two other highly sought-after names on the Google-owned site — IShowSpeed and CEROL. The former has slowly risen up the ranks thanks to his loud and at times controversial streams, while the latter is another who has taken gaming content creation to new heights in Brazil.
Two other VTubers — Miko Ch and Subaru Ch — come in at seventh and eighth. They have consistently been two of the most watched names in their domain, and it won’t be a surprise to see them and their colleagues dominate the YouTube viewership stats come the year-end.
Most popular YouTube Live non-gaming channels in April 2023
Like last month, most of the non-gaming top ten are channels devoted to news and religion. Atop this list is the Todo Noticias channel from Argentina, which covers news and politics, with 17.88M HW. The top three are rounded out by Ms Rachel - Toddler Learning Videos, which, as the name suggests, specializes in educational videos for children, and AlJazeera Arabic’s official channel.
Fourth is the entertainment channel, LUZU TV, from Argentina, as it jumped four slots from March’s standings. Next is قناة القران الكريم, a Saudi Arabian channel devoted to nonprofits and activism work that follows the teachings of the Holy Quran.
Two Brazilian channels — SBT RS and Bispo Bruno Leonardo — are part of the second half of this table. The former covers news and politics and the latter is all about philanthropic work.
Indian channel Pandit Pradeep Ji Mishra Sehore Wale and German steamer Zadruga Live, who deal with the People & Blogs genre, are seventh and eighth, respectively. Coming in tenth is a religious name from Nigeria, Pastor Jerry Eze. Such personalities are pretty big in the African country and hold a good influence on proceedings.
