October featured not that many major game releases, but several titles are worthy of attention – especially Far Cry 6 and Age of Empires IV. In the new article, Streams Charts will review the results of the main game titles on Twitch and name famous content creators that played these titles.
The ranking is based on the games’ Hours Watched on Twitch for the week since their release
#1 Back 4 Blood
The most successful launch on Twitch in October was Back 4 Blood, which was developed by the team behind Left 4 Dead. The game has been in Early Access since August but was fully released only in October. In one week after full release, the survival horror in a zombie setting amassed 9.45M Hours Watched and this is the best result of the new titles in our review.
The most popular streamer of the game by Hours Watched was FPS_Shaka who scored 545K Hours Watched in one week since the release. However, it was shroud that gathered the highest number viewers: a total of 31.1K PV.
#2 Far Cry 6
The second spot was taken by Far Cry 6. The new part of the shooter from Ubisoft has scored 6.6M Hours Watched in one week since its release. This is the best result among the single-player releases for October. The most popular streamer of Far Cry 6 was elxokas with 249K Hours Watched. HasanAbi is in the lead by Peak Viewers: 31.4K.
#3 Age of Empires IV
The third spot was taken by Age of Empires IV with 5.56M Hours Watched. Fans have been waiting for the game for four years since the announcement. LIRIK is the most popular AoE streamer based on two indicators: 372K Hours Watched and 33.3K Peak Viewers.
#4 House of Ashes
The fourth spot is taken by The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes with 5.2M Hours Watched. House of Ashes is an interactive horror movie from Supermassive Games. The most popular streamer of the game was xQcOW with 411K Hours Watched and 84.7K Peak Viewers.
#5 Darkest Dungeon II
The fifth spot is taken by the Darkest Dungeon II strategic game (5.05M), which is now in Early Access. AdmiralBahroo became the most popular content creator for the game with 911K Hours Watched and 32.7K Peak Viewers.
An honorable mention goes to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy – a game based on the movie series of the same name from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most viewers preferred to watch the “movie-game” on the channel of the Spanish-language streamer juansguarnizo: 360K Hours Watched and 50K Peak Viewers.
