During October, Twitch organized a lot of competitions between streamers as part of Twitch Rivals. There were as many as 26 of these events. In a new Streams Charts article, we've selected the platform's most popular events of the month.
Twitch Rivals stands out because it features a wide variety of game tournaments, from classic shooters like Apex Legends or CoD: Warzone to casual games like Fall Guys or the online version of UNO. In October, the platform held several game competitions for companies — its results can be found here.

xQcOW's most popular clip on Twitch Rivals Ludwig’s Fall Guys Event
The tournament was on air for 4 hours and generated 1 million Hours Watched, and the Peak Viewers number at the broadcasts was 315K people. The most popular streamer was xqcow, with 126K Peak Viewers. Second place (with a large gap) was taken by loltyler1 - 39.9K Peak Viewers. Ludwig, the host of the event, had 22K Peak Viewers on his channel.
Twitch Rivals statistics show that viewers mostly care not about the game itself, but about the streamers who play it. Warzone events, which are regularly in the top 10 categories on Twitch, can gather fewer viewers due to not the most famous participants. At the same time, Fall Guys could be revived by the attention of the platform's top content creators.
