New Twitch tool will help streamers choose the best time to broadcast

New Twitch tool will help streamers choose the best time to broadcast

Twitch has added a new tool to the Dashboard to assist streamers in selecting the optimal time for their broadcasts. Now content creators can assess the number of viewers over time for each specific streaming category. In essence, they can determine when broadcasts for particular games attract the most viewers. The new tool calculates the average number of viewers on channels within a category over a 24-hour period. Streamers can view corresponding charts based on data from the past 28 or 7 days. A longer timeframe provides more precise data, while a shorter timeframe offers more current data, taking into account recent trends.

Alongside this new tool, there will also be a special filter available, allowing streamers to exclude popular channels (those ranking in the top 2% of channels in the category by peak online viewers and having an average online audience of over 100 viewers). This feature will enable streamers to disregard data that may be inflated due to significant events, esports tournaments, and so on.
