In June 2022, the popular Ukrainian streamer Vitaliy “Papich” Tsal (Arthas) took the lead in terms of Peak Viewers on the Trovo platform. One of his broadcasts was watched by almost 26K Peak Viewers, which is twice as many as the indicator of the Russian streamer Andrey “MELLSTROY” Burim, who took the second spot in the ranking.
Previously, Papich broadcasted on Twitch and YouTube. He started streaming on Trovo at the end of April. Throughout May, the Average Viewers number on his broadcasts ranged from 100 to 800 people, depending on the length of the streams and the type of content. At the time, he was playing Dishonored, Hearthstone, and online casinos.
The channel's popularity peaked in June when Papich began watching Berserk (1997 anime series) on his stream. It is noteworthy that this was not of his own volition but at the request of one of the fans — who donated 100K rubles (about $1.9K) to the streamer, paying Papich to watch the series. In the past, Papich often spoke negatively about anime in general and said that he would agree to stream such content only for 1M rubles, but the plot of Berserk made a good impression on him, so the streamer agreed to a smaller amount of money.
The record size of the audience on Papich's Trovo channel was reached on June 10, when he started watching the first episodes of Berserk. On that day, he spent 3.5 hours on air gathering 22.8K Average Viewers. The Peak Viewers mark amounted to 26K, and the stream scored about 77.9K Hours Watched in total. It should be noted that on this day, 6.4K new followers subscribed to Papich's Trovo channel. To compare, on other days this figure usually amounted to several dozen subscribers.
Thanks to watching anime, Papić has achieved one of the highest Peak Viewers marks in the platform’s history. In terms of this indicator, he is second only to the Colombian streamer MrStivenTc, who gathered around 33.6K Peak Viewers on his Free Fire broadcast in January.
