The popular Minecraft server QSMP (Quackity Survival MultiPlayer) has officially received its own dedicated category on Twitch. This update makes it much easier for fans to discover creators who aren't just playing vanilla Minecraft, but are specifically streaming content from the QSMP server.
What is QSMP?
QSMP (Quackity Survival MultiPlayer) is the world's first multilingual private Minecraft survival server. Launched by the prominent Mexican streamer Alexis “Quackity” Torres in March 2023, the project's standout feature is its custom real-time translation mod.
Whenever a player speaks or types in their native language, others see speech bubbles (bubble chat) with an instant translation. This breakthrough enables streamers worldwide — including the UK, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, and South Korea — to interact seamlessly, breaking down the language barrier.
The launch of the new category took place on March 14, coinciding with the release of QSMP 2 — a major global update that effectively kicked off the server's second season. In this installment, the organizers expanded language support, advanced the server's overarching lore, and brought in new streamers, including creators from Germany and South Korea.
The QSMP category's peak viewership reached nearly 197,000 on the very first day.
The streamers Quackity and Michał “YoungMulti” Rychlik were especially active that day. In addition, broadcasts were also held by Ibai “ibai” Llanos, Juan Sebastián “juansguarnizo” Guarnizo, Gabriel “gabepeixe” Baptista, Tobias “Tubbo” Smith, and others.

On the day of its release, the QSMP category on Twitch ranked 12th among all gaming categories on the platform in terms of total hours watched. Based on key viewership metrics, it nearly leveled with the Minecraft category and outperformed titles such as ARC Raiders, Slay the Spire II, and Pokémon Pokopia. For a more granular view of the new category's performance, fans can visit the Streams Charts page, which provides a detailed breakdown of audience language and gender demographics, the most popular clips, and top-performing channels and broadcasts.
QSMP is far from the first project to receive its own dedicated category on Twitch. Previously, the platform's administration has provided custom categories for the Kings League media football league, Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, Ibai’s La Velada, and other major-scale projects.
