To be perfectly precise, Rubius set a new record for his channel on the pre-premiere day of Karmaland: the series was scheduled to launch on July 9, but was eventually postponed to the next day due to problems with the server. The audience was looking forward to the start of the new season of Karmaland, where Rubius play the role of one of the world leaders, and at the peak concurrent viewership reached 381.6K Peak Viewers. The real premiere took place on July 10, but Rubius failed to break the previous day's record, reaching 326.8K Peak Viewers.
The hype around the launch of Karmaland V is confirmed not only by the size of the Rubius' audience (it reached 985.7K Unique Viewers during the record-breaking stream), but also the chat activity. The audience sent over 247K messages during a relatively short stream, and the number of active chatters exceeded 84.3K people (for comparison, this is many times more than was marked during the Twitch's record stream of ibai).
The launch of Karmaland V also greatly improved the overall performance of the Minecraft category on Twitch. In July, the game ranks second in terms of peak audience (755K Peak Viewers during Karmaland V premiere on July 10), second only to Just Chatting, and 12th in total Hours Watched in July. Note that the largest contribution to this Minecraft result was made on July 9-10, exactly during the launch of Karmaland.
