Rumble October 2023 results — platform hits new record for monthly watch time

Rumble October 2023 results — platform hits new record for monthly watch time
Share:

October was great for Rumble as it hit records for watch time and average concurrent viewership since its breakthrough into the big time at the start of the year. It crossed the 40M mark for the first time, with this number being 29.6% better than the next-best month (August).

The streaming platform also reached more people on average last month than any other time, making it the first time it crossed the 60K milestone. Of course, with the presidential elections in the United States a year away, most of the activity revolved around campaigns and news about this highly significant event on the calendar. With many of its most viewed and followed channels coming from the political and religious spheres in the West, especially America, there were many streamers who regularly broadcasted either events or their take on happenings, which played a major part in the site doing so well.

This theme was also seen in the rankings of the most watched and popular accounts for October, with most coming from political and religious commentators, many of whom lean to either extreme. What can be said is that a certain pattern is emerging in Rumble's monthly viewership stats, with the same channels outperforming others when it comes to attracting a large number of viewers.

A special mention should go to the Power Slap channel, where content from the world's premier slap fighting promotion is aired. The organization's famous competition, Power Slap 5, aired throughout the month, helping it become one of the few sports-related handles to make these Rumble rankings over the last few months.

Rumble's viewership data became available recently in Streams Charts PRO subscription and via API, and users can get insights into 21M+ channels and thousands of broadcasts, including watch time and online audience dynamics, starting from $200.

InfoWars and Newsmax TV maintained their stranglehold on the top two of this list, although this time, the fight was the closest it had ever been. The former edged to the top to continue its monopoly of the summit by just 21K hours, although it will be wary of not letting its guard down in November. What helps, as always, is the massive airtimes these channels rack up, with both broadcasting different content for more than 700 hours again, with only one other entry in this top ten boasting the same.

Despite raising its watch time by 45.7%Bannons War Room could still only finish third, although this did continue its solid podium run. However, as the excitement and activity around the 2024 United States presidential election hots up, this channel can expect its numbers to get a steady boost, if the objectives of its host Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist under Donald Trump, are anything to go by.

Rounding off the top five are Right Side Broadcasting Network and Jovem Pan News, who have exchanged positions since September. Both are known to be sympathetic to the ruling dispensations in their respective countries — the US and Brazil — and continue to air content that is sometimes chided by the vast majority with the public domain.

Get-rich-quick guru SNEAKO is joined by the usual suspects near the bottom of this ranking, although he does seem to be attracting more viewers despite streaming for less time in October. The other channels in the sixth to tenth spots will continue to change Rumble's dynamics as the American political landscape continues to change, meaning they could find higher placings in future rankings.

Having finished second in September, The Dan Bongino Show went one better this time to top the table. It helps that the host has cultivated an image as one of the most followed internet personalities among regular watchers and uploads content on various topics, including the most popular clips segment. The account was also the only one in October to cross the 100K Peak Viewers mark, showing just how much fans were invested in his streams.

Next is Power Slap, the official account of the sport of the same name, with the company owned by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) chief executive officer Dana White. It became the flavor of the month thanks to one of its in-demand tournaments, Power Slap 5, held at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card was headlined by the bout between Da Crazy Hawaiian and Kalani Vakameilalo, which would crown the inaugural super heavyweight champion, and it played a major role in its success last month.

Phil Godlewski, the controversial QAnon leader, rounded out the podium places thanks to a return of his popular broadcast segment, RAPID FIRE, where he answers questions posed by viewers. Despite having a lot of recent troubles with law enforcement and a newspaper company, the American continues to be a popular public figure among the more conservative population.

Andrew Tate had two broadcasts that made the top ten most popular leaderboard for October, further cementing his status as one of the eminent internet stars on Rumble. He is joined in the top five by American-Canadian conservative political commentator Steven Crowder, who has been putting out a lot of content on the Israel-Palestine conflict, thus attracting millions of viewers.

The last five places belong to a few more political channels, with the sole exception Kai Cenat and iShowSpeed handle. Episode five of their streaming series saw them host a talent show, but it is clear that the initial excitement around their arrival on Rumble as a joint collaboration has gone, with the two also making live streams more sporadic.

Like the corresponding male top ten, the top two here have also dominated these rankings for some time. Wendy Bell Radio and Julie Green Ministries are two channels that embody Rumble's political and religious-leaning tendencies. The former is led by Wendy Bell, a self-proclaimed "wife, mom, a proud American, and a radio broadcast host who shares common sense, conservative values Monday through Friday." The latter is a Christian religious group that "exists to transform lives through God's unconditional love, his word, and the hope that comes from a personal relationship with him."

Third is The Mel K Show, which climbed up a place from September's ranking, as its content — focusing on providing life skills and empowering women — seems to be resonating with more and more types of audiences. Ark of Grace Ministries, another religious gathering, came in fourth, improving on its eighth place from the previous month, while Tore Says Show is fifth, with her content focusing on various conspiracy theories.

The last five entries are mostly from the same political commentary/religious segment, including a mix of these two topics for more views. Chicks On The Right, the only co-hosted stream here, continued to maintain its popularity thanks to reaction clips and political content.

It will take something special to remove Julie Green Ministries from the top spot  It will take something special to remove Julie Green Ministries from the top spot

There are a lot of the same names from the above list appearing here as well, with the other entries also retaining their places from September. Julie Green Ministries continues to by far be the most popular channel, with rival Wendy Bell Radio being the only other handle to cross 10K peak concurrent viewers.

All the channels that don't repeat from the watch time ranking above appear near the end of the standing: Delora OBrien - The Gathering and Dr. Kia Pruitt. The former is a much-followed religious alongside husband Dennis, while the latter "is a professional life coach, educator, and author who has dedicated 30 years to her profession in counseling and education." She is also a new name in these lists, showing that there is space for new segments and genres to prosper on Rumble as long as the content quality is of the standards expected by viewers.
