Popular Canadian streamer shroud began accumulating more viewers on Twitch after the announcement of his return to esports with Sentinels Valorant lineup. Such a rush of people his channel hasn't seen in months.
Shroud announced his intention to play for Sentinels on July 8, and that day showed a significant jump in his channel's audience. If at the beginning of the month Peak Viewers on the Canadian's broadcasts did not exceed 30K viewers, then on the announcement day this figure rose to 72.6K people. The total Hours Watched increased even more, from 180K to 680K. Similar dynamics was observed with Average Viewers figures.
In the days following the announcement the number of shroud viewers slightly dropped, but on average he had twice as many viewers as before. His 10 and 11 July streams had 60K Peak Viewers and 39K Average Viewers. It should be mentioned that these are not record numbers for the shroud channel, but the audience growth wasl significant all the same.
