Our team is incredibly happy to have been part of such a unique event as TwitchCon. The weekend in Amsterdam was full of exciting games, queues at the Twitch shop, unexpected meetings, new discoveries, and we met a lot of great people. The Streams Charts team tells about our experience at one of this year's major streamer events.
Guys with stands nearby — sorry ;)
A special thanks to those who joined us to play our game "Whose Avatar is That?", which we developed exclusively for TwitchCon Amsterdam. We are very happy that so many people liked it: hundreds of visitors played it during the event, and people guessed on average 7-8 streamers per one game. More than 20 creators were guessed only in 25 games, most of them — numerous retries of our titan with nickname Kruggers.
We'd like to once again congratulate all the winners. It was really unforgettable when we had over a hundred people around us at the winners' announcement. Special thanks to our partners Team Liquid and HyperX, who kindly donated the main prizes for our quiz. Different winners were able to win branded mics, headphones, and mice from HyperX, as well as cool Team Liquid jerseys.
Nazar, our Product Manager, caught up with some of the biggest TwitchCon guests (ft. willneff, Esfandtv, AustinShow, Kandyland, TheRealKnossi, mimimimichaela and HasanAbi)
Considering how warmly our game was greeted, we can't help posting it to the public domain. Very soon 'Whose Avatar is That?' will appear on our website and you will be able to see how well you remember Twitch's top creators by their profile avatar.
We are also very grateful to those who have attended our lectures on streaming and its statistics: our team presented examples of successful sponsor integration and discussed the key audience metrics of the live streaming industry. We hope it was interesting!
Also need to mention meetings with brands and agencies. Thank you for your interest in our product, we will contact all of you in the coming week to discuss how to proceed.
We already miss Amsterdam
As for TwitchCon viewership, the event, as expected, attracted thousands of streamers and their fans to RAI Amsterdam, and even more gathered at the screens. In this feature, we've covered the top 10 channels broadcasting the event, and here is about how Thijs' Twitch Rivals competition on Hearthstone accumulated more viewers than the last World Championship. And by clicking here, you can check out the statistics for Ultimate Challenge III, TwitchCon's most popular event.
Remember that if you are a creator and want to improve your stream and get more viewers based on data — you will be interested in our Streamer subscription, but if you are interested in comprehensive data on many channels, you should consider the PRO package.
TwitchCon Amsterdam is an unforgettable experience for many people, pokimane fans will certainly confirm it. We'd like to believe that TwitchCon won't take such long breaks again.
Thanks for this weekend and see you next time!
