The annual TennoCon 2022 conference took place on July 16. It is the main event of Digital Extremes, the developer of Warframe. In the new material, Streams Charts will talk about event's major announcements and online viewership, which was boosted by Twitch drops.
Major TennoCon 2022 Announcements
Digital Extremes has announced Soulframe, a fantasy action MMORPG inspired by the anime ‘Princess Mononoke’. According to the developers, the new game will be partially similar to Warframe, but will still acquire a number of serious differences. For example, Soulframe will prioritize melee weapons.
A major expansion for Warframe called The Duviri Paradox has been announced, bringing new thrillings quests in the open world. The player will take on the role of a criminal who has been sentenced to death.
The new ‘Veilbreaker’ expansion was also announced for Warframe. The player will take control of the heroic Grineer soldier Kahl-175 to defeat the Archons and lift the Veil once and for all.

TennoCon 2022 was on the air for almost 6.5 hours and amassed nearly 1.8 million Hours Watched over that time. The average viewership reached 279.8K viewers, and the event’s broadcasts peaked at just under 388K people. Note that the peak of TennoCon 2022 came at the time of the announcement of Soulframe. Let us also note that Warframe reached the top 2 Twitch categories during the event with 423K Peak Viewers, second only to Just Chatting.
