November 2024 witnessed a new most-watched esports team, with Germany's FOKUS topping the monthly watch time chart. Most of the top talent agencies continued to take up seats at the top of the overall list, with VShojo continuing to fly the flag high for the VTubing industry. Nevertheless, this top ten ranking had a familiar look to it, although a few new names did pop up among esports squads.
After the gap between the Mythic Talent and Loaded communities narrowed to around 1.2M hours in their watch time in October, the former pulled ahead in the latest rankings. The squad saw an 18% rise in its monthly HW figures, led by Zackrawrr, the Twitch account of the renowned MMORPG streamer Asmongold, Sodapoppin, and Shylily.
GG Talent Group and INSIGHT exchanged places in third and fourth from October, despite both seeing red in their MoM watch time. 1UP, the other talent agency here, had a rise of 58% in its monthly HW figures to thank for making this top ten leaderboard. The likes of Zarbex, GRONKH, Fabo, and Stegi played major parts in this as each witnessed green in their Hours Watched growth compared to October.
As mentioned, German group FOKUS saw a substantial increment in its monthly watch time to emerge as the number one esports team. Eliasn97 was mainly responsible for the team finishing in the sixth spot, with his live streams of the Icon League generating lots of attention and making it one of the most successful recent football cum broadcasting events.
OTK, G FUEL, and Twitch Ambassadors were the other squads to make these standings, with only the energy drinks brand seeing red in its MoM watch time. We also had ZETA DIVISION, the prominent Japanese esports organization that had topped its segment in October but fell by one spot this time.
FaZe emerged among the biggest movers when looking at esports organizations after missing out completely in the previous rankings. Its streamers generated 102% higher HW compared to October, led by Call of Duty creator Swagg, whose own monthly HW figures jumped by 223% in November.
Another popular NA org to see a triple-digit improvement in its MoM watch time was 100 Thieves. The team, led by CEO Nadeshot's 223% spike in his personal numbers as he busied himself with COD's latest offering, Black Ops 6, finished sixth after experiencing a hike of 105% from October to November.
One more name that zoomed up the rankings in November was TSM, which climbed from ninth to seventh on the back of an 18% increase in its month-on-month watch time. Meanwhile, the likes of Team Liquid, LOUD, Sentinels, Spacestation Gaming, and OpTic Gaming saw decrements in their monthly HW numbers, but they managed to maintain their top-ten positions.
For Sentinels and LOUD, members like TenZ, Loud_coringa, Gabepeixe, and 39daph were not as active as they were in October, leading to downfalls in their monthly HW numbers. Nevertheless, the kind of content they live-streamed was pretty diverse, comprising games like Valorant, GTA V, Minecraft, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with a few of them also ensuring to catch the latest season of Arcane with their fans.
Among the talent agencies not already mentioned in the overall rankings, the names to see green in November were SIDEQUEST, CIBERDIME, and RAHFT. The second team among the three returned to the top ten after a few months thanks to its streamers putting up 68% more HW in November, with most of their content revolving around Minecraft and COD: Warzone.
Content creators from aNc and VShojo were less active for a second straight month, resulting in both losing out on HW numbers compared to October. This led to drops of two places for both these Twitch teams, but their places in the top ten did not come under any danger.
For VTuber agency VShojo, Ironmouse's lack of airtime compared to the previous couple of months, where she was busy with her charity subathon, played a part in the declining MoM Hours Watched number. MataraKan was another online star who was not as active across November, with her watch time falling by over 50% to 515K HW.
