Team Liquid and FaZe have dropped from the top of the Twitch rankings for most-watched esports teams, with Japan's ZETA DIVISION now claiming the #1 spot. Among talent agencies, Loaded and INSIGHT have seen strong growth, while aNc and VShojo experienced a significant drop in viewing hours. Despite this, their rankings haven't been affected.

Mythic Talent held on to its top spot in the Twitch rankings for most-watched teams, although by the end of October, the gap between them and the Loaded streamer community had narrowed considerably. Loaded saw a 15% boost in Hours Watched compared to the previous month, thanks to streamer DansGaming and his 24-hour horror game marathon that ran all month long.
INSIGHT made huge strides, jumping from 8th place to the top 3 in October. The most active streamer for INSIGHT that month was German streamer Tolkin, who racked up over 3.3 million Hours Watched, largely thanks to his community casting of the 2024 World Championship.
Japan’s ZETA DIVISION became the most-watched esports organization for October, with its streamers generating over 13.2 million HW — a 35% increase from September. A big part of that growth came from k4sen, who hosted The k4sen Con, where popular Japanese streamers faced off in showmatches for League of Legends.
Riot Games and the League of Legends Championship Series both cracked the top 10 for October, each surpassing 11 million HW. Their growth came from coverage of the 2024 World Championship matches.

There were some big shifts at the top of the Twitch esports team rankings in October, with FaZe and Team Liquid — who led the chart last month — taking a significant dip. Team Liquid streamers generated 64% fewer HW compared to September, but they only dropped one spot. FaZe, however, saw an 83% decline, plummeting from first place all the way down to 12th. What caused this? It seems like a natural cooldown after a jam-packed September. Team Liquid racked up a ton of HW thanks to the Race to World First: Nerub'ar Palace raid event in World of Warcraft's latest expansion, The War Within. At the same time, FaZe had a huge, successful subathon in September, but unfortunately for their fans, that event has now ended.
On the flip side, there were some teams with strong growth. OpTic Gaming and Heretics saw the biggest jumps in October, with their Hours Watched increasing by 85% and 54%, respectively. For the American team, scump was once again the standout, hosting a marathon stream to celebrate the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. For Heretics, the biggest boost came from founder TheGrefg, who drew a huge crowd with his stream marathon of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

There weren't many major shifts in the agency rankings, except for INSIGHT bumping GG Talent Group out of the top three. Streamers from aNc and VShojo were less active in October compared to the previous month, causing their total HW to drop by about 25%. Still, both agencies held on to their positions in the ranking.
One agency worth highlighting is 1UP, which saw a 20% increase in HW compared to the previous month and moved up one spot in the rankings. A standout for 1UP was streamer zarbex, who thrilled his audience with an IRL marathon from the Oktoberfest beer festival.
