Top Twitch Teams of Q3 2024
Share:

Wrapping up our Q3 2024 reports, Streams Charts presents rankings of the most-watched Twitch Teams of the quarter. Many of the assosiations managed tens of millions of hours of watch time with sometimes hundreds of channels, whereas others managed a high ranking despite only having single-digit channels to accumulate viewership.

Firstly, talent agency teams were generally the top performers of the quarter, with Loaded accumulating 77.14M Hours Watched, coming out just ahead of Mythic Talent with 73.44M HW. However, the latter team had roughly 80 more channels broadcasting throughout the quarter. Both of the agencies have industry leaders behind them, with North American stars LIRIK, shroud, summit1g, and many more signed to Loaded. In contrast, Mythic Talent offered a more diverse squad of channels, from highly popular variety channels like CaseOh_ to VTubers like filian

Most watched talent agency Twitch teams Q3 2024

Many of the top-performing Twitch teams here appealed to specific demographics, like aNc who represent Italian streamers, and INSIGHTRAHFT, and 1UP who all sign German-speaking content creators. Top-performing German and Italian creators appeared to be more concentrated to a select number of teams, whereas other major Twitch audiences like French and Spanish were not represented by any specific team here. On top of French and Spanish audiences, Japanese streamers were also not well represented among the most-watched agencies.

GG Talent Group was the third-most-watched talent agency team of Q3, having earned 56.37M Hours Watched. This agency largely focuses on English-speaking international creators, like forsen, Distortion2, and Elajjaz. This is similar to SIDEQUEST and United Talent Agency, who both also appeal to various English-language international streamers: the top streamers of each agency are PirateSoftware and Maximilian_DOOD, respectively.

VShojo was the single VTubing-related agency to make this ranking, finishing the quarter in 7th place with 16.06M Hours Watched. The team generated a vast majority of their viewership from the most popular streamer, ironmouse, who held a record-breaking subathon during the quarter. Apart from the Puerto Rican star, other popular streamers from the team included Zentreya, MichiMochievee, and MataraKan

Most watched esports organization Twitch teams Q3 2024

Moving across to the esports side of the livestreaming industry, FaZe Clan was the most popular team with 34.5M Hours Watched. FaZe Clan originally found its popularity outside the esports industry, but diving deeper into esports has only launched the organization’s brand awareness and popularity even further. However, their livestreaming content on Twitch reflects casual Just Chatting and Call of Duty viewership, rather than coverage of their esports endeavors. Most impressively, FaZe Clan was able to claim the top spot in this ranking with only 13 active channels.

Team Liquid utilised its esports popularity to a greater extent than FaZe Clan. Many of Team Liquid’s most popular streamers for the quarter were either current or retired esports professionals across Dota 2, Valorant, and more. The official TeamLiquid Twitch channel was a top performer for the team, thanks to its coverage of World of Warcraft event Race to World First. ECHO in 9th place also achieved most of their viewership through WoW event coverage, with over 97% of ECHO’s total viewership coming from World of Warcraft streams.

ZETA DIVISION was the first real representation of Asia in our rankings, with the Japanese esports organization appealing to Japanese audiences on Twitch. The organization appeals to both competitive and casual audiences, similar to Team Liquid. The organization has signed top Japanese streamers like stylishnoob4, as well as esports players broadcasting in their free time, like their former Valorant player Lazvell.

Sentinels were the fourth-most-watched esports organization, appealing to English-speaking audiences through their casual and competitive streams. Valorant star streamer tarik contributed just less than half of the team’s total watch time, but newly retired players turned streamers TenZ and Sacy will likely emerge as some of the team’s most popular streamers for the remainder of 2024. TenZ in particular is a world-famous Valorant player, but Sacy’s influential position in the Brazilian Valorant community is not to be understated either.

Other regional organizations like Germany’s FOKUS and Brazil’s LOUD largely appealed to their home audiences, whereas Spain’s Team Heretic’s had some international viewership on top of their home support, largely thanks to benjyfishy, a young British Valorant professional with Team Heretics who has emerged as a fan-favourite with his crisp mechanical ability.

North American organizations Spacestation Gaming and TSM achieved 15.01M and 14.7M HW, respectively, largely by appealing to more casual audiences. TSM’s top streamers include Just Chatting travel streamer Jinnytty, and former Counter-Strike and Valorant professional Subroza. On the other hand, Spacestation Gaming received over 95% of their total watch time from North American streaming star Jynxzi, one of the industry’s newest household names.

Most watched other Twitch teams Q3 2024

In terms of Twitch Teams which do not fall under the talent agency or esports organization umbrella, OTK led the way with 47.04M Hours Watched. The North American organization is home to some of the continent’s most popular Twitch streamers. SodapoppinMizkifEmiru, and zackrawrr (otherwise known as Asmongold) are only some of the industry-leading North American streamers signed to this exclusive organization.

Ibai the team of, and only of, Spanish streamer ibai. The Spanish content creator and internet personality is one of the globe’s most popular figures to emerge from the livestreaming and esports industries. Ibai is well-known for his special in-person events, like his boxing event La Velada del Año, as well as LoL esports coverage. The streamer was originally a League of Legends commentator for Spanish regional events, and he still stays true to his origin by covering regional and international events for the esports title. In total, ibai alone generated 37.94M Hours Watched during the third quarter of the year.

The final podium spot in this ranking represented a sponsorship deal for streamers. Critically, streamers can be part of multiple Twitch teams, meaning it is a unique avenue for sponsorships and deals for the Twitch-based creators. Energy drink company G FUEL were the most popular sponsor at 31.75M Hours Watched.

On the esports side of things, The International and Riot Games both earned 20M+ Hours Watched through their esports event coverage. While The International exclusively represented official channel viewership for Dota 2’s premiere end-of-year tournament, Riot Games accumulated their watch time across both Valorant and League of Legends regional and international events. The official channels from Riot Games were unable to keep up with Dota 2’s viewership, even with Riot Games accumulating watch time from Korea, EMEA, the Americas, and Asia.

Chang Gang is a small group of GTA V role-playing streamers from the famed NoPixel server. It originally began as a simple in-game organized crime group, but now is one of Twitch’s most-watched teams on the entire platform. The Hammer Squad represented a passionate group of fans for World of Warcraft streamer Towelliee, and SpeedRunsLive is a website for following speed running streams, with a Twitch Team allowing fans of speedrunning to easily find new content on the purple platform.

Lastly, Streamers4Palestinians represented many highly popular French content creators, who organized the team to raise funds for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. The French charity movement collected more than 1 million euros in less than a week back in June, with many of France’s leading content creators in support. ZeratoR, who is well known for his charity events, AntoineDanielmistermv, and Ponce are only some of the highly popular streamers who contributed to this team’s high placement in our rankings.
