As a platform that thrives on collaboration and creativity, Twitch is home to an array of vibrant streamer communities. These teams are as diverse as the platform itself, ranging from esports organizations and talent agencies to unique groups like roleplay streamers and VTuber collectives.
Brands are also playing a role, forming streamer teams to extend their influence, while megastars like Ibai “Ibai” Llanos have proven that even a solo creator can rival the biggest squads in terms of viewership. In this article, we’ll spotlight the standout teams of 2024, exploring their impact and the ways they’ve captured audiences across the globe.
Global Twitch team ranking 2024
This year’s Twitch squad rankings showcased a remarkable variety, including talent agencies, gaming communities, a brand-sponsored team, and even a squad made up of creators from an esports organization.
Talent agencies dominated the top four positions in terms of viewership performance. Leading the charge was Loaded, a team primarily composed of English-speaking streamers from Europe and North America. With over 40 creators, two-thirds of the team’s viewership came from just five channels, headlined by platform icons like Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar, Tarik “tarik” Celik, and Michael "shroud" Grzesiek.
Interestingly, Loaded managed to surpass its main rivals, Mythic Talent and GG Talent Group, even though its squad is 2-3 times smaller in size.
While Mythic couldn’t match Loaded in terms of viewership, it shone as the leader in follower growth. Over the course of 2024, the agency’s streamers gained more than 4 million followers: 500,000 more than 89SQUAD, which came in second for this metric.
The top-performing sponsored team of the year was G FUEL, a massive squad of over 400 creators. Leading the charge for G FUEL’s viewership was, yet again, summit1g, cementing his status as one of the platform’s most influential streamers.

Another brand left its mark on the 2024 Twitch teams landscape. The squad sponsored by gaming energy drink Rogue Energy became the leader of the year in terms of total stream time, with over 1.06 million hours (121 years) on air! The team also performed well in terms of viewership, securing 23rd place in the overall squad ranking.
Chang Gang’s story is particularly noteworthy. Despite being the smallest team in the rankings with just seven members, the group managed to rack up over 100 million watch hours in 2024, outpacing countless teams with far larger rosters. Representing the NoPixel GTA RP server, North America’s most popular roleplay hub, Chang Gang owes much of its success to Lord_Kebun, leader of the group, and... summit1g. Yes, Lazar is part of multiple teams, and his regular streaming schedule, exceptional engagement, and devoted audience make him a key factor in the rankings.

The largest Twitch teams can include thousands of streamers. In 2024, the biggest was Social Gamers, with an impressive 3,600 active streaming channels last year and a total of over 8,000 channels comprising the squad. However, despite its size, it lags behind the top-performing teams in terms of viewership.
Top Twitch teams of esports organizations 2024

The Japanese ZETA DIVISION stands as the sole esports organization in the overall top 10 rankings, setting itself apart by surpassing 100 million hours of watch time. With over 60 creators on board, the team’s content focuses on top titles such as League of Legends, Valorant, Apex Legends, and Grand Theft Auto. Though esports-related viewership makes up a smaller portion, ZETA DIVISION's creators are often seen co-casting major tournaments, particularly those for Riot Games titles.
Team Liquid, trailing ZETA by just a small margin, remains one of the most massive esports teams on Twitch, with over 100 streamers on its roster. It dominates the platform in streamer activity, logging more than 94,600 hours: more than twice that of its closest rival, Grow uP eSports. While the team is made up of a wide range of content creators, the biggest contributor to its yearly performance (around 20%) was its World of Warcraft guild, led by Max "Maximum" Smith.
While North American-based squads tend to attract the largest audiences on Twitch, FOKUS is an intriguing exception. This gaming and esports organization is predominantly made up of German-speaking creators, a much smaller segment on the platform. At the helm of the squad is Elias “eliasn97” Nerlich, one of Germany’s top streamers, who secured a spot in Twitch’s top 10 rankings last year.
Other prominent international squads include LOUD, made up mostly of Brazilian creators, and Karmine Corp from France, both of which have garnered significant attention.
Top Twitch teams of talent agencies 2024
The top agencies in the overall ranking also led the talent agency sector, with the top four far surpassing the rest of the field. For example, the agency aNc, ranked fifth, garnered 60% fewer Hours Watched than INSIGHT, which placed fourth. What's interesting is that aNc is the only mono-national Twitch team in this ranking, composed entirely of Italian content creators.
While VTubing achieves its best reach on (surprise, surprise) YouTube, the VShojo agency is actively and successfully promoting these streamers on Twitch as well. Their team, led by two key figures, ironmouse and Zentreya, secured the 7th spot in the ranking.

What's interesting is that, while multinational rosters casting in English usually lead the viewership charts, 1UP and CIBERDIME, with their teams made up entirely of German and Austrian streamers, challenge this trend. Both teams delivered impressive performances in 2024, outshining even well-established agencies like United Talent Agency.
