Winter Drops Fest 2025 is now underway. Launched on December 3, the event runs through December 20 and brings together over 20 games, offering Twitch viewers a chance to get free in-game goodies simply by watching streams or supporting creators. Whether you’re a casual viewer or a hardcore gamer, this holiday-season promotion is a solid opportunity to score extras while enjoying your favorite content.
Alongside the rewards, Twitch also introduced expanded sponsorship options for creators: the former “Bounty Board” has been moved to a new “Sponsorship” tab, and “open invites” are now being rolled out, with plans to extend them to Affiliates in early 2026.
How to earn & claim the rewards

Link your game account to your Twitch account via the “Drops” page.

Watch streams in the participating game categories for the required amount of time.

Once you meet the watch-time threshold (or gift/subscribe, if required), claim the reward in your Twitch Drops inventory. The item then appears in-game, usually automatically within a few minutes.
Subscription-based drops: Only new monthly subs (any tier), multi-month subs (3- or 6-month), and gift subs are eligible. Prime subs, renewals, or immediate re-subs after cancellation do not count.
