Celebrating 10 years of TwitchCon, the yearly convention for Twitch returned to Rotterdam for the weekend of May 31 and June 1. At every TwitchCon, streamers explore the grounds, interact with each other, and meet fans — often all live on stream. These IRL broadcasts and other coverage of TwitchCon receive a significant amount of viewership throughout the weekend, and Streams Charts has collated the results of TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam.
TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam also saw the purple platform announce many new changes coming to the platform. From 2K streaming to new Affiliate status requirements, check out all major announcements made by Twitch in our TwitchCon announcements article.
In total, more than 1,100 channels covered TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam, either on the venue grounds or from home. The coverage of the European TwitchCon was multifaceted, stemming from official Twitch announcements, high-energy Twitch Rivals matches, and streamers simply interacting with and walking around the convention. Across the TwitchCon 2025 weekend, more than 4,200 hours of content was streamed live on Twitch.
In total, TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam accumulated 1.26M Hours Watched (HW), with viewership coming roughly equally from both the Saturday and Sunday. This is dissimilar to the most recent TwitchCon, San Diego 2024, which saw the clear majority of the weekend’s viewership collected on Saturday. The highest Peak Viewership for a single channel was recorded by TwitchRivals, which received 17,428 Peak Viewers (PV) for the live MC Championship event.
While Europe’s TwitchCon continues to be generally less popular in livestreaming than its North American counterparts, the convention was highly followed and covered by both American and global livestreaming fans. Yoo “Jinnytty” Yoon-jin was the most-watched streamer of the weekend, with over 125,000 Hours Watched. Just slightly behind Jinny was EsfandTV with 114,464 HW. These two English-speaking creators boast large followings for IRL content, and their coverage of TwitchCon is consistently some of the top-ranked content of each convention.
Other highly-watched channels from the convention weekend naturally included official Twitch channels, such as Twitch, TwitchRivals, and LAN. If we combined the forces of each individual official Twitch stream, the company’s own broadcasts were the most-watched content in livestreaming. The remainder of the ranking was populated by various IRL streamers, such as NoraExplorer, Hyojeong “Mhyochi” Park, and Fiona “fanfan” Fan.
In terms of peak concurrent viewership, the official Twitch channels dominated this ranking. TwitchRivals was the most popular channel with the MC Championship live, which we discussed earlier, and the Twitch and NomNom channels also received strong concurrent audiences for their opening day of exhibitions and panels.
Rayenne “Etoiles” Guendil, a popular French creator with over 1M Twitch Followers, received 9,679 PV for his POV of the MC Championship Live. If the French streamer had broadcast more of the TwitchCon weekend, he would’ve likely also been a top channel by total watch time. Aside from this new entry, other fresh faces in this ranking include Lydia “lydiaviolet” Wilson and Harry “venofn” Pearson, who received their peak viewerships for their coverage of TwitchCon’s chess and Fortnite events, respectively.
These mentioned streamers are the top creators who rose to the top of TwitchCon’s results, but what about the average streamer who added their viewers and coverage to the weekend of events? Streams Charts has broken down the viewership of TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam, to take a closer look at the streamers behind its viewership.
In essence, the average Twitch streamer to cover TwitchCon 2025 Rotterdam was an English-speaking, male broadcaster with somewhere between 0-50 Average Viewers. English-language content dominated the weekend, as both native speakers and global creators using it as a shared language. German was the next-most popular language, with many German creators choosing to make the relatively short drive up to the Netherlands to attend the convention.
