Victoria’s Secret enters top 10 livestream channels of 2025

Victoria’s Secret enters top 10 livestream channels of 2025

The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made a spectacular return, cementing its status as one of the year’s most high-profile events in fashion and entertainment. Beyond the runway glitz and star-studded performances, the show proved its massive digital reach: over 2.5 million viewers tuned in live, making Victoria’s Secret’s YouTube channel one of the most-watched in livestreaming in 2025 and clearly the year’s #1 event in the beauty and fashion category.

The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was one of the most high-profile fashion events of the year, bringing together supermodels, performers, and other celebrities of all sorts. Held in Brooklyn, New York, the show featured a mix of returning iconic Angels, such as Adriana Lima and Bella and Gigi Hadid, as well as new faces, including athletes like WNBA star Angel Reese and celebrity newcomers like Emily Ratajkowski.

In the broader context of fashion and entertainment, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show occupies a unique space, blending high-fashion runway presentation with mainstream pop culture and creating content that is as much about entertainment as it is about clothing.

Beyond the runway, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has long been a cultural touchstone, bridging pop music and media spectacle along with fashion. The 2025 edition continued this tradition with performances by Missy Elliott, Karol G, TWICE and Madison Beer, turning each runway segment into a multimedia experience.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show typically garners strong media and public attention, but the 2025 edition broke records for audience engagement. One of the official streams on Victoria’s Secret’s YouTube channel peaked at over 2.5 million concurrent viewers, marking the highest viewership in the channel’s history.

Even more remarkably, the show maintained nearly 2 million live viewers throughout its entire 1 hour and 45-minute runtime, substantially higher than last year. Whereas viewership in 2024 ramped up mostly in the second half of the broadcast, in 2025, the majority of the audience tuned in almost immediately after the stream began.

Overall, the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show outpaced last year’s edition across all key metrics. Peak viewership rose by over 18%, while the average audience jumped nearly 79%. Consequently, the event’s total watch time increased noticeably, despite the broadcast being 15 minutes shorter than in 2024.

What’s even more remarkable is that after the event, Victoria’s Secret’s YouTube channel entered the top 10 most-watched livestreaming channels of the year, competing with platforms such as Twitch, Kick, Rumble, and many others.

By peak viewership among individual channels, Victoria’s Secret ranks 7th in this year’s standings, ahead of major events like the Sidemen’s charity football match at a sold-out Wembley and Nintendo Japan’s Nintendo Switch 2 presentation. The event was just 300,000 concurrent viewers short of matching the audience of Apple’s tech showcase.
