On January 26, one of the most renowned content creators on Kick, Westcol, hosted a live stream that became a hit thanks to the presence of legendary footballer Ronaldinho. Unsurprisingly, it ended as the most popular broadcast of the week on the green platform and entered the top 60 overall.
The Special Event labeled SI SABE FEST saw a team led by popular Colombian singer Blessd face off against a side led by the former Ballon d'Or winner in a game of 5s futsal. The latter's team edged a pretty competitive game 10:8, with Westcol sitting on commentary and calling the action.
So much action and star power helped this live stream hit 391.4K Hours Watched, 196.9K Peak Viewers, and 130.4K Average Viewers over three hours of airtime. Of course, the event — broadcast on Westcol's channel as he was one of the organizers — saw Blessd also release his new album, SI SABE, after which the event was named.
Apart from being the most popular Kick live broadcast of the past week, it also ended as one of the Colombian online star's most successful streams. It finished second on the peak concurrent viewership table and third on the watch time leaderboard.
Westcol has regularly been one of the stars of the Kick revolution over the past year. He ended 2023 as the third-most viewed Latin American streamer and the seventh-most watched Hispanic influencer in the fourth quarter, leading the charge for his platform in the latter list by a distance.
During the streaming service's first year in action, the 23-year-old was its fourth-most popular name, behind only fellow megastars like Adin Ross, ROSHTEIN, and xQc. Most impressively, his September 24 stream — titled Stream Fighters 2 — recorded 806.6K PV, making him the most popular LATAM streamer in live broadcasting history as he surpassed the likes of Gaules, ElSpreen, casimito, and Juans Guarinzo.
With 2023 being so successful, Westcol has gotten the new year off to a great start thanks to his promotion of Blessd's album and the exhibition football match featuring Ronaldinho. It remains to be seen how far he goes over the next 11 months, but it will not be surprising if he is near the top of the lists mentioned above come December.
