Unlike last month, when esports events topped the YouTube Gaming channel rankings, July saw a return to form for many VTubers. As many as four such creators made the overall top ten leaderboard, reducing the presence of official competitive gaming channels to just three. League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang were the two highly-followed games that maintained their presence in the top ten, with one particular star roaring back thanks to a cross-continental journey that took him all the way to the top of the standings.

IShowSpeed is atop the overall leaderboard after accumulating 6.2M Hours Watched in July 2024, which can mainly be attributed to his travels across Europe as he frequented German stadiums to watch the Euro 2024 matches. He was also able to garner over 310,000 concurrent viewers for one such live stream during his second visit to Poland, making this series of broadcasts his most successful in 2024.

First up is LCK, the official handle that covers everything related to the biggest regional league in LoL. With the conclusion of the Esports World Cup 2024 for LoL and the resumption of the latest split in this series, the LCK Summer 2024, which will go on till September, fan attention has once again been piqued as they anticipate another Grand Final between T1 and Gen.G.
The MPL Indonesia channel comes third with 4.07M HW thanks to the conduct of its latest split. Most of this came from the ongoing EWC 2024, where there were men's and women's competitions in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The EWC X MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 ended as this lucrative cross-event spectacle's most popular tournament yet, while the EWC x MLBB Women's Invitational 2024 can safely be labeled as one of the most successful tournaments in the series' history and women's esports overall.
The first of the abovementioned four VTubers is next, with Pekora Ch. hitting 2.54M HW to reclaim her place as the top name in her field. The hololive star was mostly busy playing Ark: Survival Evolved, which managed to attract the attention of quite a few influencers last month thanks to the news that it will finally be coming out of Early Access and getting an official release on August 29.

One such event that was live-streamed on his channel in July was the Creator League Basketball, while his most-watched video was his re-watching of the MrBeast 50-streamer challenge.
