After a month of 24/7 livestreaming, which meant non-stop entertainment for fans and viewers, Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 3 concluded on September 30. It was quite a record-breaking affair filled with celebrity cameos and fun content, helping this edition outperform the livestreaming numbers from last year.

The latest iteration of Kai Cenat's 30-day, round-the-clock subathon clocked in 82.5 million Hours Watched (HW), just about beating the Mafiathon 2's numbers. This helped him finish September as the number one channel by watch time, with no one else coming remotely close to matching his numbers.

However, the 23-year-old’s third Mafiathon edition held even greater talking points. During the last week of this month-long broadcasting expedition, Kai Cenat broke the Twitch all-time subscriber and follower records, cementing his place among the greatest content creators the purple platform has ever seen.

A big part of the success of Mafiathon 3 was the cameos from various high-profile celebrities on camera. The likes of the Jonas Brothers, LeBron James, Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Keke Palmer, Selena Gomez, Ice Spice, Benny Blanco, and Ed Sheeran were all seen on-stream at some point over the past month, enhancing the subathon's reputation.

Kai Cenat also reached a new personal Twitch channel record for concurrent viewership, attracting just over a million Peak Viewers (PV) during the final broadcast of Mafiathon 3 on September 30. It also outperformed the top livestream from the previous edition by over 61% and became his first to reach a million PV.

LeBron James' appearance was undoubtedly a key factor in the success of the final Mafiathon livestream, as the NBA legend cut his host's dreads to celebrate the latter reaching a previously unfathomable one million all-time subscribers on Twitch. With the broadcast teased beforehand, there was high interest to see the Los Angeles Lakers player appear and take on the role of a barber for their favorite streamer.

Kai Cenat even enlisted the services of the iconic rock band Linkin Park for a surprise concert inside his bedroom. It was not the only musical performance fans saw during Mafiathon 3, as The Chainsmokers and FaZe Kaysan "Kaysan" Ghasseminejad turned the Bronx native's bathroom into a club while he was showering.

It's safe to say that Kai Cenat's Mafiathon has become one of the most anticipated and important annual livestreaming experiences for viewers. The third edition also established him as a bona fide legend of the Amazon-owned service, and it will be interesting to see how he tops what he achieved over the last month during future projects.
