Top Kick categories in Q1 2023

Kick positions itself as a platform with more lenient rules for streamers than Twitch, especially when it comes to content related to gambling and virtual casinos. This had a huge impact on Kick categories popularity. Therefore, it is not surprising that Slots & Casino became the most popular category on Kick in the first quarter of 2023, accumulating 26.2M Hours Watched from January to March, far outpacing other sections.
In second place on the ranking was the Just Chatting section, with streamers in this category accumulating 18.3M Hours Watched over the three months. Other categories in the top 10 were significantly behind the leaders. The top non-gaming categories included Other, Watch Party, Music, and Pools, Hot Tubs & Bikinis.
The most popular game on the platform was Grand Theft Auto V, with most streams coming from RP servers. Kick viewers also enjoy watching streams related to Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, and Valorant. There are many shooters among the top games on Kick.

The most viewed channel on the Kick platform in the first quarter of 2023 was the channel of American streamer Adin Ross. Over three months, he gained more than 7.6M Hours Watched — mostly in the Just Chatting category.
Also in the top three for total Hours Watched were Roshtein and Trainwreck. Most of their streams were in the Slots & Casino category, where they gained 6.5M and 3M Hours Watched, respectively. It should be noted that both streamers started streaming on Kick after Twitch introduced additional restrictions on broadcasts with gambling games and virtual casinos.
It is worth noting that there is not a single game-focused streamer in the top 10 most viewed Kick channels. Mostly, all representatives of the ranking gain their Hours Watched in the Just Chatting and Slots & Casino categories. Only Niter from the top ten gained about 36 hours of stream in League of Legends in the quarter.
Adin Ross also holds the top spot in the ranking for Peak Viewers. 125.1K viewers watched his most popular broadcast simultaneously. This happened in early March, on the eve of the release of the Kick mobile app.
In second place in the ranking was Brazilian streamer Paulinho O Loko, known for his broadcasts from RP servers in Grand Theft Auto V. One of his streams was watched by 62.4K viewers at the same time.
Streamers Evelone, Corinna Kopf, Roshtein, Trainwreck and other streamers also made it into the top 10 for peak online viewership for the quarter. Mostly, all of them set their records during broadcasts in the Just Chatting and Slots & Casino categories.
