Streams Charts continues to sum June up. Previously, we named the most popular Twitch categories of the month, and now it is time to update the Top 10 most popular teams on the platform based on the results of this period.
The most popular Twitch team in June 2022 is G FUEL brand ambassadors: The Official Energy Drink of Esports. Members of this squad racked up a total of 28.4 million Hours Watched. This is a 4% increase compared to May, when they ranked third. It should be noted that G FUEL is the largest group in the ranking — it includes more than 460 content creators. The most active of them is summit1g from the U.S. — he amassed 6.6 million Hours Watched (+33%), most of which he accumulated playing DayZ.
The second position in the ranking is taken by Vizz, which includes top streamers from Spain: Rubius, TheGrefg and ibai. The three of them racked up 27 million Hours Watched in a month, of which 21.8 million were accumulated by the latter. We should remind you that in June ibai organized a boxing event in Barcelona, La Velada Del Año II, during which he set a record on the platform for Peak Viewers (3.3 million viewers).
Third place in the ranking is taken by the Loaded community. In June, the streamers of this team got 23.48 million Hours Watched — 23% more than in May. The main contribution to this result was made by summit1g, as well as shroud (3.7 million HW), LIRIK (3.5 million HW) and CohhCarnage (2.6 million HW). Note that the Loaded team was fourth last month.
Fourth place is taken by ibai, about whom we wrote above. Thanks to his boxing event, he single-handedly surpassed the results of groups of streamers. His results in June are fantastic: 21.8 million Hours Watched, 3.3 million Peak Viewers and 207.3K Average Viewers on a broadcast.
One True King squad slipped from second to fifth place. Its streamers accumulated nearly 30 million Hours Watched in May and 19.1 million HW in June. The strong decline is directly related to the results of Asmongold, which were much more modest last month. The American accumulated 10 million Hours Watched, 47% fewer than in May. On the other hand, Mizkif showed good growth with 3.5 million Hours Watched in June (+30%) thanks to the SMITE event.
Corsair brand ambassadors rank sixth in June with 17.6 million Hours Watched. This is 17% more than in May. Among the squad leaders are summit1g (6.6 million HW), CohhCarnage (2.6 million HW) and Saintone (1.1 million HW).
Tribo Gaules squad, which was the leader in May, dropped to seventh position. The total number of Hours Watched amassed by streamers decreased by more than half, from 32.6 million to 15.6 million. Gaules himself accumulated 13 million HW (-54%). This significant drop is a reversal after the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 CS:GO tournament.
The group of official Riot Games streams ranks eighth in the ranking with 13.7 million HW. It should be noted that in May it was ninth, but at that time the viewership was higher (15.6 million HW). The leaders of the community in June are official channels LEC (3 million HW), LCK (2.7 million HW) and CBLOL (2 million HW) which streamed League of Legends.
SpeedRunsLive representatives are in ninth place in the ranking. In June, the squad accumulated almost 12 million HW — 156% more than in May. Much of this result is a result of the speedrunners' charity marathon on GamesDoneQuick channel (8.6 million HW).
The Twitch Ambassadors community closes the June ranking with a total of 11.3 million HW. GRONKH (Germany) is the leader of the month among the squad members — he accumulated 2 million HW (+48%).
The channels of tournament operators PGL and ESL, which got a lot of HW in May thanks to PGL Major Antwerp 2022 in CS:GO and ESL One Stockholm 2022 Dota 2 tournament, dropped out of the Top 10.
