Most watched Twitch Teams in February 2022

Most watched Twitch Teams in February 2022

The Top 10 of most watched Teams on Twitch saw multiple lineup changes in February 2022, not only as a result of Katowice 2022 taking place but also as a consequence of Asmongold’s return to streaming, among other factors. Here’s how the ranking changed in February.

Disclaimer: The ranking is based on the sum of hours that viewers spent watching streamers' broadcasts. It does not include esports organizations, which we ranked in a separate article. The rankings comparisons are based on previous reports by Streams Charts, not the whole streaming history of Twitch Teams.

Most watched Twitch Teams in February 2022

For the first time in this chart’s history, the One True King team, co-founded by Asmongold and Mizkif, rose to the top and with 33 million Hours Watched became the most watched Twitch Team of February 2022. Compared to previous months, OTK’s viewership jumped by more than 150% mainly thanks to Asmongold’s return to streaming after a four months-long break. Meanwhile, Asmon was streaming on his alt account zackrawrr, from which he was purportedly making no money.

The second was G FUEL, a community of streamers with consistent results that commonly places among the leaders of the chart. This time around, the team generated 32.7 million Hours Watched. The team consists of 509 content creators, including the likes of Towelliee and Summit1g, whose contributions to the team’s total Hours Watched accounted for over 15% and 13%, respectively.

Loaded Talent Agency rounds out the top three with 27.4 million Hours Watched. The team managed to maintain its position in the rankings over the last three months despite the 6.2% decrease in viewership since January. With only 43 members, Loaded has a much stronger lineup compared to G FUEL, which too includes Towelliee and Summit1g, as well as other popular streamers such as shroudLIRIK and Castro_1021

Similarly to Loaded, team Corsair too remained in its fourth position, accumulating 22 million Hours Watched in February 2022, which is 3.4% less compared to last month's rankings. This is yet another team fueled by Summit1g, together with Sykkuno and CohhCarnage

ESO Stream Team, which describes itself as a team of “hard-working, passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated Elder Scrolls Online livestreamers” is a newcomer to the rankings thanks to a significant increase of Air Time by its leading member, the video game news and wiki network Fextralife. The channel’s HW count increased by 563.75% in February, helping the team to place in fifth place.

Next is team Riot Games, which comprises all of the Riot’s official Twitch channels, with LECLCS and LCK being the most popular. Thanks to the start of the new season of League of Legends, the team’s viewership skyrocketed in January and continued maintaining the numbers in February, showing a slow, 8.3% growth while dropping from fifth to sixth place.

With IEM Katowice 2022 recently taking place, ESL’s teams ESL Gaming and ESL 2 both saw cosmic spikes in viewership, as hundreds of thousands of people tuned in to one of the most prestigious CS:GO and StarCraft II events. Compared to last month’s results, ESL Gaming’s viewership increased by 653%, while ESL 2’s viewership increased by 1000%

January’s second place, the Vizz Agency, which is represented by top Spanish-language streamers IbaiTheGrefg and Rubius, was negatively impacted by TheGrefg’s ten days-long streaming break, long enough to move the team to the ninth position. While his viewership tanked by 84.7% in February, Vizz Agency generated 17.3 million Hours Watched, which is 42% less than in the previous month.

The top 10 was rounded out by the CS:GO Professional Player Streams team on Twitch with 17.15 million Hours Watched. The team’s leader was the ESL_CSGO channel, which is also the leader of both previous ESL teams that placed in February's rankings.
